🀝 Supporting Our Industry Partners – Ensuring Care, Provided Safely

At NE Event Ambulance Service, we recognise that the demands of the events industry can change rapidly. That's why we remain committed to supporting our trusted industry partners whenever we're able, helping to ensure events continue to operate safely and effectively.

During the week, we were proud to provide an experienced event medical clinician at short notice to support one of our industry partners, alongside delivering clinical oversight throughout the event.

This ensured our shared commitment to safe, effective patient care and robust clinical governance was maintained from start to finish.

Our ethos of "Ensuring Care, Provided Safely" underpins everything we do. Whether we're delivering complete medical provision or strengthening another provider's team, our focus remains the same: delivering professional, patient-centred care to the highest clinical standards.

A sincere thank you to our dedicated clinician for their professionalism and willingness to step in at short notice, and to our industry partner for their confidence in NE Event Ambulance Service.

If you're looking for a dependable event medical provider or require experienced clinicians to support your existing teams, we'd be pleased to discuss how we can assist.

Ensuring Care, Provided Safely.

πŸ“’ It's been a little while since our last post, but we wanted to reassure everyone that we are very much still here and continuing to support events across the North East and beyond.

Over the past few months, we've been working hard behind the scenes, focusing on service development and planning some exciting new initiatives that we'll be sharing with you soon.

While our social media presence may have been quieter than usual, our commitment to delivering professional, reliable, and high-quality event medical cover has remained as strong as ever.

We would like to thank our clients, partners, and dedicated staff for their continued support and trust. Your confidence in us allows us to continue growing and evolving to meet the needs of the events and communities we serve.

Keep an eye on our page over the coming weeks as we begin sharing updates on new developments, future plans, and the exciting direction NE Event Ambulance Service is heading.

The best is yet to come. πŸš‘πŸ’™

No one goes to work to be assaulted for doing their job trying to help people.

We fully support the and any such attacks on our staff will be reported to the police.

Everyone should be able to . We come to work to help people, not to be abused or assaulted.

Unfortunately one of our crews last night whilst providing cover in Darlington Town centre was assaulted by someone who they were trying to help.

Our thanks to the door staff Neil and Josh from Locomotive Security Group who were at The Quays and came to our immediate aid, Darlington Borough Council CCTV control room and Durham Constabulary for attending and removing the offender.

Our staff member wasn't seriously hurt and choose to continue the night supporting those enjoying the Night Time Economy of Darlington Town Centre.

We will not stand for any assault on our staff and will support them through the processes.

Our thanks to Tent & Awning Clinic for providing effective repairs to our AED case which had been cut.

Our thoughts are with the families of the two firefighters of Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service (Official) and those of the member of the public who passed last night at an incident in Bicester.

In times like these we as a collective emergency services community come together to support each other during the sad times.

Stopped at a red light and see blue lights? 🚦

Our crews are specially trained to find a way around stationary traffic, if safe to do so. This may include using oncoming lanes or a filter lane.

If it is unsafe, our vehicles will:

πŸ“ Keep a safe distance behind the queue
πŸ”‡ Turn sirens off (but keep lights on)
πŸš‘ Wait until they can proceed safely.

If an emergency vehicle is behind you at a red light, do not cross the white line β€” this is a traffic offence!

πŸš™ If you're first in the queue, remain where you are until the light turns green or until the emergency vehicle has safely passed.
