🎓 Heading to university or starting Year 13? Protect yourself against Meningitis B.
Meningococcal B (MenB) can cause serious illnesses including meningitis and sepsis, but eligible young people can now receive FREE NHS MenB vaccinations.
You may be eligible if you are:
✅ In Year 13 (born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008)
✅ Starting university for the first time this autumn and born on or after 21 July 2001
✅ Moving into student halls or residential further education accommodation for the first time this autumn and born on or after 21 July 2001
💉 The vaccine is given in 2 doses, at least 4 weeks apart, so don’t delay—get your first dose before term starts.
