At Tropic, we use some amazing ingredients in our products, and we call them Hero Ingredients....I will introduce them to you one at a time. Today it's the turn of Green Tea, which
contains a cocktail of potent antioxidants called catechins which help fight damage caused by free radicals & UV. Powerful green tea polyphenols stimulates cell regeneration & boosts skin vitality. Last night I watched in horror as on BBC's the One Show they discussed how tiny particles of plastic from facial/body scrubs are entering our waterways (they are so tiny that the water processing plants cannot filter them out of the waste water). As a consequence, rivers and the sea are being polluted, and of course, the animals such as plankton and fish are ingesting these plastics; who knows what the consequence of this will be for these animals in the future. Happily our Face smooth product uses organic rice flour (Traditionally used in the far East to treat blemishes, wrinkles & pigmentation,rice flour has soothing & calming properties for the skin. Also helps to reduce skin redness and pore size.), and sugar cane (Rich in natural alpha hydroxy acids that gently exfoliates & rejuvenates skin.Promotes a brighter complexion.)

Why did I join Tropic? well I am an animal lover and always try my best to buy products that have not been tested on animals, however, this is sometimes difficult to ascertain as often ingredients have been tested on animals but the whole product has not, so the company are able claim 'not tested on animals'. Tropic products are transparent in their ingredients, and have been verified and certificated by the Vegan Society and BUAV giving me 100% confidence that they are completely animal friendly. Also, very importantly the products are completely made of naturally sourced ingredients, such as plant oils, essential oils and other plant extracts, and are just gorgeous to use....I wouldn't be without them for my skin (and my conscience).
