A year ago, I began working with my mum on improving her skin quality and texture using a course of skin boosters and polynucleotides. One thing I always tell clients is that this is not an overnight transformation—it requires commitment, consistency, and an investment in the process. However, when you trust the journey, the results can be truly remarkable.
My passion for skin began over 20 years ago when I started my career as a beautician. I later trained as a nurse, developing a particular interest in tissue viability and wound healing. Through further education in skin anatomy and tissue viability, I gained a deeper understanding of how the skin functions and regenerates.
Combining my background in beauty therapy and nursing has given me a unique perspective within aesthetics. It has allowed me to focus not only on what we see on the surface but also on the health and quality of the skin beneath. This approach is about treating the underlying causes rather than simply masking concerns—investing in long-term skin health rather than applying a temporary fix.
I’m delighted that skin health has become such a key focus within modern aesthetics, because when we work with the skin at a deeper level, the improvements can be transformative. My mum’s results are a perfect example of what can be achieved with the right treatment plan, dedication, and patience.
