There's something special about bringing people together face-to-face.

Last month, we hosted an in-person TSA event, and it was a great reminder of why membership is about so much more than access to information, it's about connection.

Seeing members come together to share experiences, discuss challenges, celebrate successes, and learn from one another reinforced the true value of being part of the TSA community. The conversations, insights, and willingness to support each other are what make our network so powerful.

These events create a safe environment where members can explore new technologies, ask questions, learn from real-world experiences, and benefit from the collective expertise of both fellow members and the TSA team. It's a space where knowledge is shared openly, ideas are sparked, and valuable relationships are built.

Technology continues to evolve at pace, but having a trusted community around you makes navigating change that much easier.

Introducing the National Sector Support Group

TSA has brought together leading organisations from across the technology enabled care sector to support a new programme aimed at growing investment in TEC.

The TEC National Sector Support Group is being supported by Alcove, Access Group, Careium, Chiptech, Legrand Care, Taking Care and Tunstall Healthcare, with each organisation committing to a multi-year investment in the programme.

Acting as an independent convenor, TSA is working with sponsors, commissioners, policy makers and sector partners to strengthen the evidence, messaging and practical guidance needed to increase confidence and investment in TEC.

The group has been formed around a clear aim: to help more decision makers understand the value of TEC, invest in it with confidence and recognise its role in delivering better outcomes for people who draw on care.

Year one of the programme will focus on four connected workstreams:
• Stronger messaging around the value of TEC
• A stronger evidence base to support investment decisions
• An updated Blueprint for Proactive & Preventative Services
• A new TEC commissioning guide

A major output from the first phase of the programme will be a sector briefing intended to inform discussions taking place through the Casey Commission review and the wider adult social care reform agenda.

The programme will also begin laying the foundations for a clearer understanding of the scale, impact and contribution of the TEC sector, helping to inform future policy, commissioning and investment decisions.

Last week, our very own Henry Lockett graduated from the Housing LIN Future Leaders Programme 🎉

Everyone at TSA is incredibly proud of Henry and this fantastic achievement.

Reflecting on his experience, Henry shared:

"The Future Leaders Programme has broadened my perspective on what leadership can be. It has shown me that there isn't a single path or style of leadership, but that the most effective leaders are those who are authentic to themselves. One of the most valuable aspects has been building a network of like-minded peers across the housing sector, learning from their experiences, and supporting one another.
