We were honoured to launch Jody’s Scoops of Love Ice Cream at Belle Vue Sunderland today, in memory of Jody Redman who worked as an activities coordinator at the home for eight and a half years.
Based in Myra’s Retreat, named after late resident Myra, the ice cream parlour will be open for the community to enjoy throughout the summer, and all funds raised will go to the home’s chosen charity Leon Under-11s football team.
