Why are SKIN LESION ASSESSMENTS crucial prior to removal of any skin lesion?
Not all skin lesions are benign. Some are malignant.
Benign means non cancerous
Malignant means cancerous or potentially cancerous.
Without the correct training, experience and equipment it can be difficult to ascertain a diagnosis.
Here at The Nurse Clinic our SKIN LESION ASSESSMENTS are performed by a fully trained Advanced Nurse Specialist Donna Dady who has had extensive experience in treating dermatology during her career and has attended training to an intermediate level in Dermoscopy Skills and Minor Surgery Skills.
