Helping women move from overwhelm to unapologetic living ✨ Mindfulness & Reiki | 💃 Belly dance and Burlesque |🧘‍♀️Moving Meditation | Hi, I’m Nicky. 🌹

I’m here for the women who are tired of "white-knuckling" their way through the day—juggling the mental load, navigating transitions, and living entirely in their heads. At Phoenix Rose Wellbeing, I provide a down-to-earth sanctuary designed for yo

u to drop the masks and find your fire again. My approach is a unique, multi-faceted bridge between Practical Coaching and Soulful Expression. I believe that true change happens when we involve the whole self. That’s why I blend the stillness of Mindfulness and Reiki with the creative spark of Craft and the liberating power of Dance. We don’t just talk about change; we move through it. We glide through three powerful stages:

• ✨ RESET: We quiet the noise, soothe your nervous system, and find your Navy foundations through Reiki and Mindfulness.

• 🌿 RECLAIM: We get you out of your head and back into your body. Through Movement and Dance, we reclaim your "Allure" and reconnect with the joy of being alive.

• 🔥 RISE: Through Empowering Coaching, you find the Gold—stepping back into the world with unapologetic clarity, purpose, and a stride that is entirely your own. Whether you're here for a 6-week transformative course, a dance-infused workshop, or a deep Reiki reset, you’ll find a space that is as vibrant as it is grounded.

📍 Proudly serving the Risca community and beyond.

🌿 Ready to find your stride? I’m a big believer in the power of a good connection. Drop me a message and let’s have a natter over a cuppa to see how we can get you dancing to your own rhythm again.

Flying home tomorrow, and stepping straight into the cool shade with you on Friday! ✈️👇

It is scorching out there right now. When the weather gets this hot, the absolute last thing your body wants is a hectic, high-energy workout or a stressful to-do list.

So, if you’re looking at Friday’s Unbound: Moving Meditation taster session and thinking, "Nicky, I love you, but I am too hot to move," let me reassure you right now: this session is exactly what your nervous system is craving.

This is an hour of gentle, low-slow moving meditation. No pressure, no sweating through a high-intensity workout, and absolutely no expectations. We are creating a cool, slow-paced space to gently stretch, release the mental fog that comes with the heat, and bring your mind and body back together.

We finish the hour with a beautiful relaxation sequence called The Melt. 🫠
And honestly, given the current temperatures, we are halfway to melting already! But I promise you won’t dissolve into a puddle on the floor—you’ll just melt away the stress, the fatigue, and the mental chatter.

A few quick reminders for Friday:
💧 Bring water! Keep it ice-cold. Staying hydrated is a non-negotiable this week.
🧘‍♀️ Wear something loose and comfortable. Whatever makes you feel cool and at ease.
✨ Come exactly as you are. Lazy summer energy is fully welcome in this room.

If you’ve been living on autopilot or feeling trapped in your own head during this sticky heatwave, come slide into a slower pace with us.

👉 There are still a couple of spots left for Friday. Click the link in my bio to grab yours, pack your water bottle, and let’s go find some calm together.

Hello my lovelies! I’ve noticed some new faces around here, so I wanted to reintroduce myself and say a huge welcome. 👋✨

If your life is looking for a bit more calm, presence, and room to breathe, I’ve got you. My name is Nicky and I help people move out of survival mode and into a life that feels truly Unbound.

Sometimes people look at what I do and see a mix of workshops, crafts, energy work, and dance, and wonder how it all fits together. But to me, there is a single golden thread running through everything I offer: Embodiment. It is all about creating space, bringing your mind and body back together, and learning to live authentically in your own skin so you can stop treating life like something you need to escape from.

We do that through a few different pathways, depending on what your body needs:

🧠 The 60-Minute Reset: Practical, on-the-go tools (like my under-a-minute "Tesco Test") to spot early cues of anxiety and burnout so you can respond instead of react.

✋ Mindful Hands: A creative backdoor to mindfulness. Traditional meditation doesn't work for everyone—keeping our hands busy naturally quietens a racing mind.

🌀 Reiki & Chakra Balancing: Working energetically to clear blocks, soothe your nervous system, and restore that mind-body connection from the inside out.

☕ The Village Well: Our low-pressure community hub to just be, share space, and replenish your energy.

💃 Unbound: Movement and dance sessions to express yourself, have fun, and revitalise your body.

I know these tools work because they are what I use daily. They kept me grounded, peaceful, and present through a deeply challenging 18 months of relocating, caregiving, and grief.

Ready to stop living on autopilot? At the beginning of July, I am running local taster sessions for the 60-Minute Reset and Mindful Hands workshops, and the hall is booked! It’s the perfect, low-pressure way to experience that golden thread for yourself.

👇 I’d love to know: Which of these pathways speaks to you the most right now? Let me know in the comments!

Happy Summer Solstice. 💛

Today marks the longest day of the year—the peak of the sun’s light and warmth. In a world that constantly tells us to do more, hustle harder, and tick off the next box, the solstice is a gentle reminder from nature to do the exact opposite.

At its highest point, the sun doesn’t rush. It just radiates. It occupies its space fully, warmly, and effortlessly.
If your brain is tired, if your body is craving rest, or if you’ve been navigating a heavy season lately, let this be your permission slip to stop pushing. You don't need to fix, achieve, or figure everything out today.

Try this gentle affirmation with me:

"Today, I choose to let myself bask in the warmth of how far I’ve come. Like the sun at its highest point, I am allowed to just radiate, rest, and be exactly who I am, right here, right now."

Whether you are watching the sunset from your back garden, a local park, or a beach far away—take a deep breath, feel the light on your skin, and give yourself the space and grace to just arrive in this moment.

You’ve made it this far. Now, let yourself bask.

👇 Drop a ☀️ in the comments if you're giving yourself permission to just be tonight.

Quick question for the "Wired & Tired" club... ☕ vs 🍷

I’m currently getting the July taster sessions ready for my new programs at The Sycamore Centre Risca. I want to make sure the times actually work for you—not just what looks good on paper!

If you were going to grab an hour for a "Reset," when would you actually be able to make it happen?

A) The "School Run" Slot: 10:00 AM (Once the morning rush is over and before the lunch madness starts).

😎 The "Evening Exhale": 7:30 PM (Once the dinner dishes are done and the house is (hopefully) quiet).

Just drop an A or B in the comments. It’ll help me massively to make sure I’m there when you need me! 👇

What on earth is a “Tesco Test”? 🛒👀

In my last post, I mentioned having simple, actionable tools to hand to stop overwhelm—what I call my “Tesco Tests.” Today, I’m giving you a sneaky peek into how they work.

These are quick techniques designed to ground, soothe, and regulate you in the heat of the moment, bringing clarity to chaos.

The secret? They work best if you practice them before you actually need them. When you practice them in ordinary moments, they become part of your emotional muscle memory. When your inner world loses its footing, you can grab hold of them instantly.
As a bonus, doing this enhances the mundane, anchoring moments of joy, relief, and calm (hello, glimmers! ✨).

One of my trusted, go-to techniques is the 5-4-3-2-1 method. It uses your five senses to anchor you right into the here and now. Stop and find:

👁️ 5 things you can see
✋ 4 things you can touch
👂 3 things you can hear
👃 2 things you can smell
👅 1 thing you can taste

By focusing entirely on your physical senses, you pull your brain out of the spiral. From that grounded place, it’s so much easier to respond rather than react.

This is incredibly effective for anxiety, panic attacks, or that rushing, blurry overwhelm where everything feels like it’s on fire.

But it’s also a superpower for locking in good memories. 🌊

You can use it to consciously savor a
beautiful holiday moment so you can recall it later. It’s also brilliant to do with kids—it turns into a sensory treasure hunt that sparks instant presence. Cool, right?

Give it a try today. Try it during something completely ordinary, or in a moment you’ve been deeply looking forward to. And yes—if you are in Tesco, Lidl, or anywhere else and the sensory overload creeps in, try it right there in the aisle. It takes less than a minute, but it gives you so much back.

👇 I’d love to hear from you: Have you ever tried the 5-4-3-2-1 method? Let me know in the comments!

Have you got your bikini body ready?" 🙄

Yes. I have a body, and I put a bikini on it. Job done.

Four years ago, I was on holiday in Cyprus, and I wore a bikini for the first time as an adult. I remember it vividly: my heart was pounding, my chest felt tight, and my anxiety was through the roof. But I did it anyway because it was boiling hot, and I was just so fed up with battling one-pieces every time I wanted a quick swim.

Fast forward four years. I am back in Cyprus. This time? I have four bikinis in my suitcase. I’ve already worn two of them, and the experience is completely different.

There’s no anxiety. No tight chest. Just the pure comfort of a quick change, maximum swim time, and zero angst about missing out on a spontaneous dip in the sea.

Have I lost weight since that first trip? Nope. I’m actually heavier now than I was then.

But you know what? The world kept turning. No one gasped in shock at the sight of my bare flesh. No one batted an eyelid. And honestly, if they did—so what?

It is hot. My body—and your body—deserves to be comfortable in the heat. We deserve to feel the cool water on our skin.

I used to spend holidays pouting, feeling crappy, wishing things were different, and living in the "what-ifs." Now, it’s a "hell yeah!" It’s laughter, splashing in the sea, paddling, and actually living the experience rather than watching it pass me by. Not "someday when," but today. Here and now.

This is what happens when you live a life Unbound.

Embodiment isn't about changing how you look; it’s about changing how you inhabit your own skin. It’s about being true to you. When you trust the ways your body supports you and enables you to live, life instantly becomes lighter. Joy creeps in, and then it just exudes from you.

Trusting what your body can do, honouring it, and expressing it? It’s delicious.

Life is for living. You and your body deserve to live all of it, today. ✨ ❤️ ❤️
