🌿 A Rare Opportunity to Visit the Beautiful Gardens at Llanover House 🌿

If you’re looking for something lovely to do tomorrow (Sun 6th Sept), why not enjoy a peaceful stroll around the beautiful gardens of Llanover House, Abergavenny — while supporting a wonderful cause. 💚

We were lucky enough to have a private stroll around the gardens last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. They really are a beautiful and calming place to wander, slow down and simply enjoy being surrounded by nature. 🌳🌸 The gardens are opening to the public to raise funds for Horatio’s Garden Wales, a charity creating beautiful, accessible gardens for people spending time in NHS spinal injury centres.
📍 Llanover House, NP7 9EF
🕚 11am–4pm
🎟️ Entrance: £8
☕🍰 Tea and cake available too!

Opportunities to visit these private gardens are rare, so it’s a lovely chance to explore somewhere special while helping to raise money for such a worthwhile cause.

Take a look at my video for a tiny glimpse of what you can expect. 🌿

Please help us spread the word too by sharing this post and - hopefully we can get lots of people through the gates and raise a fantastic amount for Horatio’s Garden Wales. 💚

We are so grateful to the Llanover House family for allowing us to enjoy their beautiful gardens.

When your hormones are dysregulated, your nervous system loses its natural buffer. Stress hits harder. Anxiety spikes faster. Your body becomes more reactive, more sensitive, more easily triggered.

This is why so many women find that their nervous system regulation practices aren't working the way they used to. It's not because the practices are ineffective. It's because hormonal imbalance has stripped away your system's ability to stay grounded.

But here's what I've found to be remarkably effective, regardless of hormonal state. There's a technique called the physiological sigh that research has shown to be one of the fastest ways to activate your body's calm response.

It's simple. Two short inhales through your nose followed by one long exhale through your mouth. Five seconds, start to finish.

That's it.

I use this whenever I feel the first whisper of stress activating, just when stress is starting to build, when I know my system needs a gentle recalibration, I pause and I do this. The shift is immediate. Your vagus nerve activates. Your parasympathetic nervous system engages. Calmness returns.

Whether your hormones are in flux or stable, whether you're managing stress or anxiety or simply wanting to stay grounded, this technique is one of the most accessible, most portable tools you have.

Try it right now. Feel how your body responds. Save this. Return to it whenever you need it.

Your nervous system knows how to come home. Sometimes it just needs five seconds of support.

When panic hits, your nervous system genuinely believes you're in danger. Heart racing, adrenaline flooding, everything feeling urgent and out of control.

Here's what matters though: the feeling is real, but the threat isn't. Your body is misfiring, not failing. That distinction changes how you can respond.

These are tools I use with clients stuck in panic cycles, alongside breathwork:

Cold on your cheeks or a splash of cold water on your face and wrists. This triggers your dive reflex and slows your heart rate fast.

Name five blue things. Not five things, five blue things. The specificity pulls your brain out of the spiral and into thinking mode.

Hum, loudly. It sounds too simple to work, but it stimulates your vagus nerve and lengthens your exhale, telling your body it's safe.

Move hard for a few minutes, walk fast or jump on a rebounder. Adrenaline needs somewhere to go, and strong movement burns it off.

Then say this out loud: this feels scary, but it's not dangerous. My body is misfiring, not failing. I'm okay. All is well.

Your nervous system listens to the language you give it. Reframe panic as a malfunction instead of a catastrophe, and something in you starts to shift.

Panic isn't proof something is wrong with you. It's a sign your system needs grounding and real safety.

13 years + into energy healing, hypnotherapy, breath work and healing, and I sometimes still fall into the same patterns as everyone I work with 🤍.

My own meditation practice isn't always consistent. Some weeks I show up every day, other weeks I'm just going through the motions. I used to see that as failing. Now I know falling away and coming back is the whole rhythm.

I still overbook my diary with barely any room to breathe. Nobody sees that part on Instagram, the quiet pull between wanting to help everyone and actually resting. I'm getting better at saying no, but it's still a daily practice, not something I've mastered.

One thing I never skip though: healing and breathwork for myself, morning and night. Even on the days I'm holding space for client after client. Practitioners are often the worst at pointing that healing back at themselves, and I see so many of you running on empty because of it. We give until there's nothing left.

I doomscroll too sometimes, dressed up as "research." My nervous system doesn't need more stimulation, it needs more presence, and I know that even while I'm doing the opposite.

My biggest lesson right now is patience. I want everything to happen today. Learning to live slowly on purpose, in a world built for speed, and trusting that things land when they're meant to.

And every so often, lack creeps back in, that old belief that I'm not enough, even when I know better. We're all shaped by systems that taught us that.

None of this makes me less qualified to help you. If anything, it's why I understand exactly where you are. You're allowed to be a work in progress. Your struggles have taught you something your perfection never could.

If you're ready for support on your own healing, book your free discovery call for a 121 session, link in bio, or drop "121" in the comments and I'll send it your way 🤍

Healing your nervous system isn't just self-care. It's a complete recalibration of how you move through the world.

When I finally understood what dysregulation looked like in my own life, everything shifted. I stopped reaching for my phone the moment anxiety knocked. I stopped waiting to "deserve" rest. I started leaving spaces that pulled me out of alignment, without apology or explanation.

That's when the real changes began.

I released the belief that chaos meant I was passionate. I softened the grip on forcing things that asked me to abandon myself. I honoured my slow mornings like they were sacred, because they are. I learned to let people in, to accept help without guilt, to protect my peace the same way I'd protect my body from harm, because your nervous system's state is your health.

This is what it looks like when you stop living in survival mode. Not through willpower or gritted teeth, but through genuine regulation. Through breath work that settles your vagus nerve. Through hypnotherapy that rewrites the patterns your subconscious has been running on repeat. Through energy healing that restores what's been depleted.

Your nervous system is listening. Are you ready to teach it a new way to be?

Your brain can't fall asleep when it's caught up in stories. Planning the week ahead. Replaying conversations. Running through tomorrow's to do list on repeat. Worrying about things that might never happen.

When your mind gets caught in this cycle, your nervous system stays in problem solving mode, searching for safety through control and planning. And when this happens, sleep feels impossible.

There's a technique called cognitive shuffling that works beautifully for this. You simply pick a word, then use each letter to think of completely random, unrelated words. No pattern. No connection. No story.

Take POCKET. P: Pizza, Pencil, Puddle. O: Ocean, Olive, Oven. C: Cloud, Carrot, Candle. K: Kite, Kitchen, Koala. E: Elephant, Envelope, Egg. T: Tiger, Toaster, Tree.

Your brain can't build a narrative from this. It can't problem solve. Just focus on the words, not images. Often within minutes, your mind begins to genuinely slow down.

This is one of the tools I recommend alongside breath exercises. Because when your nervous system finally releases the need to protect you through constant planning, that's when genuine rest and deep healing becomes possible.

Most sleep struggles aren't about being bad at sleeping. They're about a brain and nervous system that haven't been taught how to truly let go. Learning how your mind and nervous system actually work can shift everything from sleep to stress, from overthinking to emotional regulation.

Small tools create profound changes.

When your mind won't quiet down at night, and you've tried your usual self-help (e.g. breath exercises, meditation) sometimes what you need isn't another breathing exercise or another meditation. Sometimes you need to work directly with the frequencies your body actually recognises and responds to.

There's something profound about sound that most people don't realise. The healing music you find online often feels soothing, but the actual frequencies are buried under layers of sound. Your nervous system never truly receives the benefit. But there's a different approach. Sound built using 432Hz and the Golden Ratio, that sacred pattern found everywhere in nature. In galaxies and seashells. In flowers and ocean waves. In your own DNA and the rhythm of your heartbeat. When you listen to these frequencies, something shifts at a cellular level. Your mind begins to quieten naturally. Your nervous system genuinely relaxes. As you listen you can do gentle breath exercises, reassure your body that you are safe, which will allow body to drop into the kind of deep, restorative sleep where real healing happens. Your energy lifts. Your entire system realigns.

This is what I mean by working with nature's wisdom. Your body speaks the language of these patterns. It recognises them. It responds to them.

Over the years I've explored so many tools for nervous system regulation, from hypnotherapy to energy healing, to breath and tapping. Sound is one of the most underestimated. When you give your system frequencies it actually understands, transformation happens quietly and deeply.

If you're struggling with sleep, if your mind races at night, if you've tried your usual practices but your nervous system needs further support sound is well worth exploring.

🎉 1 MILLION VIEWS IN 28 DAYS! 🎉

I’m absolutely delighted to see that our page has reached 1 million views in the last 28 days. 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who has watched, liked, shared, commented or simply stopped for a moment to read one of our posts.

Every interaction helps us spread a little more positivity and helps more people discover how simple tools such as breath exercises, hypnotherapy and healing may support greater calmness, confidence, relaxation and wellbeing.

My aim has always been to share practical ideas that people can use in everyday life, while encouraging them to keep an open mind about the connection between the mind, body, breath and energy.

To reach 1,000,000 views feels incredibly special, and my partner David (and fellow Master Reiki Healer and Teacher, Breath Work Practitioner and Spirit Release Therapist) and I are so very grateful that these messages are travelling further than ever. Just earlier this month I thought to myself how amazing it would be to help a million people and whilst it was a surprise to see the good news appear last night on our 28 day account review, on reflection I had projected the thought which had simply become our reality. What would you like to achieve I wonder? It's time for us to update our vision board now!

Thank you for being part of this growing community. 💫

Here’s to continuing to release, restore and rise together.

Lisa

Sometimes a past life bond doesn't announce itself gently.

It shows up as jealousy you can't quite explain. Friction that feels oddly familiar. Strange dreams where you're living another time, another version of a connection. A pull towards someone or somewhere that belongs to a chapter that isn't this one.

But the soul remembers what the mind has forgotten. And it leaves clues.

I've worked with so many clients who felt inexplicable connections to people, places, times that seemed to exist outside their current life. The pull was undeniable. The recognition immediate. And beneath the surface, something ancient was calling for resolution, for understanding, for release.

Sometimes those connections are meant to teach us something profound. Sometimes they're meant to be released so we can step fully into this lifetime. And sometimes they're meant to help us understand patterns we've been repeating across multiple dimensions of time.

When you work with hypnotherapy, with energy healing and spiritual awareness, you begin to access that deeper knowing. Your soul's memory. The patterns your nervous system has been carrying. The connections that shaped you across lifetimes.

If someone specific came to mind as you read this, that's rarely accident. Some part of you already knows. Your soul recognises what your conscious mind hasn't quite caught up to yet.

Understanding these bonds, releasing what no longer serves you, and stepping into alignment with your soul's true path is sacred work.
