We're thrilled to share that Gilmor Hair and Beauty is now part of Aston and Fincher! As we step into this new chapter, we want to assure you that some of the same friendly faces you know and love will continue to serve you at our Newport, Treforest, and Blackwood stores. 🤗

You'll find all your favourite brands, like Milkshake and Elgon, right where you expect them. Plus, in the coming weeks, we’ll be introducing a selection of Aston & Fincher ranges, including Moroccanoil, Olaplex, ColorWow and The Gel Bottle, ensuring you have access to the best products in the industry.

The only changes you'll notice are an expanded range of products, value on key items, regular offers, and an enhanced promotions program. Our commitment to the hair and beauty industry remains strong, and this acquisition of Gilmor only strengthens that bond. 🤝

❗️Important news❗️

Gilmor Hair and Beauty has been our passion and our life for over 25 years, as a family we have truly loved owning and running the company. We have been lucky enough to work with fantastic staff, wonderful suppliers and the most amazing customers, we will be forever grateful for the relationships we have forged with so many of you.

However, all good things must come to an end, with Mark and Angela looking for a more gentle pace of life and Tom and Ellie wanting to spend more time with their young families, we have decided that now is the right time to move on and sell Gilmor Hair and Beauty.

As part of this process, we have had to look closely at the whole business, Our branches in Newport, Treforest & Blackwood will continue to trade as normal but we have come to the difficult decision to close our Barry, Pembroke and Cardiff stores. We know this will be an inconvenience for some of you, and we apologise for that. We are however pleased to offer solutions to minimise the impact of this.

We are very pleased that we have come to an agreement to sell the business to Aston & Fincher, a company we are sure you are all aware of. Aston & Fincher are one of the longest established and most successful businesses in the industry, and have a reputation for professionalism, honesty and the fair treatment of staff and customers. They already have a strong team in South Wales and are very much looking forward to welcoming our team into their family and welcoming you as customers. They will be keeping all the products you know and love from Gilmor, and adding many of their exclusive, high-performance products from their portfolio. We are excited for this next stage for the business and the opportunities it will offer you.

The stores mentioned above will close on the following dates, as of the 24th January we will close our Pembroke Dock Branch, with Barry closing on the 21st February and finally Cardiff closing on the 28th February, from the 3rd March Aston & Fincher will take over the running of the company.

It has been our absolute pleasure to work with all of you over the last 25 years and we will miss so many of the people we built wonderful relationships with, but we have no doubt that this is the right time and the right decision for the business.
