Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy

. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy." A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

The Sunday Evening Ache Nobody Warns You About…

The sun starts going down, and your body knows before your mind does.

The light turns amber.

Then gray.

And something in your chest quietly begins to close.

You tell yourself it is Monday.

The inbox. The alarm. The week standing at the door with its hand already out.

But that is not the whole truth.

What aches on a Sunday evening is not the thought of work.

It is the part of you that knows you are about to become useful again.

It is the sound of a woman folding herself back up.

All weekend, in small unguarded moments, you got to be a little more yourself.

You moved slower. You wanted things without apologizing for them. You heard your own thoughts again.

Maybe you looked around for a moment and thought, there she is. There I am.

And then Sunday evening comes.

The light leaves the room. The house goes quiet in that particular way.

And you can feel yourself reaching for the box you keep her in.

The capable one. The composed one. The useful one. The one who does not need too much.

The one who can make herself small enough to fit through Monday morning.

You start putting yourself away a piece at a time.

The softness goes first. Then the wanting. Then the part of you that still dreams.

And that quiet grief you cannot quite explain is real.

It is not a bad mood. It is not you being dramatic. It is not you being ungrateful for a life you worked hard to build.

It is a small funeral you hold every week for the woman you do not get to be from Monday to Friday.

Because some part of you knows she was alive this weekend.

She was not gone. She was just buried under competence, under survival, under everyone else needing you to be fine.

And here is what I need you to hear before the light is fully gone.

That ache is not weakness.

It is the last honest part of you refusing to disappear quietly.

It is the part of you that still remembers there was supposed to be more than getting through.

A woman who had truly given up would feel nothing on a Sunday evening.

She would fold up clean. No grief. No resistance. No ache in the chest.

But you still feel it.

That means she is still alive in there.

So do not rush to silence the ache tonight.

Do not call it anxiety and bury it under one more episode.

Let it speak.

Because it is telling you the truth your week keeps drowning out.

You were not put here to fit through Monday.

You were not made to spend your whole week as a function, and call two slow mornings freedom.

You were not born to be useful at the expense of being alive.

I am not going to pretend one post changes the shape of your life.

But maybe tonight you fold a little less of yourself away.

Maybe you leave one part out.

The part that wants. The part that feels. The part that still remembers.

The part that looks at the dying light and whispers, please do not make me disappear again.

Keep her close this week.

Keep one promise to her, even if it is small.

Especially if it is small.

She has been packed away long enough.

What a powerful and beautiful week of Coven circles. 💗
This month we celebrated sisterhood, explored why women are being called to gather together and peeked into the mother wound. We then weaved the most magical Sisterhood Blessing Bowls… serving each other and building our bonds as a circle of powerful, glorious, women.

As women we carry so many wounds that prevent us from forming meaningful relationships with each other.
Mother wounds, persecution wounds, even our own physiology experiencing other women as a threat. Thousands of years of competition with each just for our basic survival.

We explored the Mother wound, our own unconscious relationship and beliefs about the feminine. The rejection wound with the mother does not start at birth, it starts at conception.
We are aware of our mother’s thoughts and feelings about us before we can even form a thought of our own and our mother becomes the blueprint for ‘woman’ in our unconscious.

We did an interesting unconscious exercise… a little like word association, where you say the very first thing that pops into your head…

MY MOTHER MADE ME FEEL……
WOMEN AS FRIENDS ARE……..

The answers were varied but they followed two distinct themes..,Scary, vicious, bitchy, complicated, inadequate, lonely…
And Powerful, strong, beautiful, resourceful, resilient.

We have so much complex and unconscious trauma connected to the feminine… but also a distinct desire to build bonds and heal those wounds.

This month we connected, shared and bonded as groups of magical women and it was an honour to witness.

Thank you to all the ladies who came along this month and love and healing to the ladies who couldn’t make it.

Animals shake off trauma in minutes. We carry ours for decades.

You've seen the video. A polar bear coming out of a tranquilizer dart. Convulsing, breathing in ragged gasps, paws twitching all over the place. It looks like a seizure but it isn't. Thirty seconds later the bear is standing up, completely fine, going back about its day.

Zebras do it after a near miss with a crocodile. Squirrels do it after barely surviving an owl strike. Every mammal on the planet shakes itself out and walks away clean.

Except us.

The shake isn't trauma. It's the body completing the trauma response and discharging the chemistry. Adrenaline that was loaded for a fight. Cortisol that surged through for survival. Muscles that locked up and never got the message to release. None of it was meant to stay in there. The body has a built-in clearing program and the animal turns it on automatically.

Humans have the exact same program. We just suppress it.

There's a researcher named Dr. David Berceli who spent years watching this. He didn't invent anything new. He just helped people find the switch their body had been hiding from them their entire life. He calls it neurogenic tremors. Given permission, the body starts a small wave of shaking that travels up through the legs, the hips, the spine, sometimes into the jaw. After five or fifteen minutes it stops on its own. And what people report afterwards is hard to describe to someone who hasn't felt it. A clearing. A loosening. Something that had been wedged in there for years just leaves.

The reason we block it isn't biological. It's social.

Shaking in front of the tribe looks like weakness. Like your capacity has been breached. Like there's something wrong with you that the rest of the group might want to stay clear of. The first time you broke down trembling as a small child somebody around you probably reacted in a way that told your body, not here. So the program got filed under off. And it stayed off.

Meanwhile every stress, every loss, every breakup, every awful phone call, every near miss with a bad driver kept depositing chemistry that was meant to leave through a valve you stopped using when you were five. So you carried it. And you wondered why you felt tired without doing anything physical. You wondered why your shoulders never quite dropped. You wondered why you couldn't sleep properly for a week after something hard happened, while your dog seemed completely fine by Tuesday.

Robert Sapolsky wrote a whole book about this called Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers. The zebra doesn't ruminate. It doesn't replay the crocodile scene for nine days under a tree while the herd brings it leaves. It shakes, rejoins the group, and goes back to grazing.

You can find the switch again. Berceli's exercises are free on YouTube. They take about ten minutes a session. Most people feel nothing for the first couple of weeks, and then one day the body lets go and the wave comes through. Twenty years of held tension drops out the bottom of the legs.

You're not broken. You've been carrying a release valve your whole life that you were quietly taught not to use. Every other mammal on this planet uses theirs without thinking. There is still a way back to yours.

Man this world feels so intense right now!!

I am speaking to so many people who are at breaking point, so many people experiencing extreme circumstances of loss or illness. So many people struggling with anxiety and mental health issues.

Humanity is struggling.

The energy is also off the charts. Registering huge spikes, solar flares, and anomalies.
Chaos and turmoil energy.
Turbulent energy.
This kind of energy rattles our nervous system.
It can feel too much. Too overwhelming. Too intense. Too pressurised.
And I think we are all feeling this to some degree.

The world seems to be spiralling too.
Everywhere you look there is more fear.
More things to be concerned about.

And it’s got us all exhausted.

Our poor bodies are stuck in flight or fight.
Flooded with cortisol and adrenaline.

Our systems were not designed for this kind of continuous input.
This kind of prolonged fear and threat…
kept just beneath the surface so it’s not quite tangible but enough to keep us on edge.

This is deliberate. The system wants you stressed out, on medication, struggling to survive. The bombardment is planned… the overwhelm is scheduled.
They want you weak, tired and in survival mode.
That way you are easy to control.

So what’s the answer?

Well for me the answer is THIS!
Time in the silence and space of nature.
Time with my bare feet on the earth. In the mud.
Time to listen to the wind and birdsong.
Time in my own company and the company of all that is natural.

For me this is truth.

And it’s how I return to myself and the truth of what is real. It’s how I cope with a world that is designed to break me.

And the reality is that so much of what we worry and stress about is not even truth… it’s our anxiety… or future projection of what ‘could’ happen. Or what we have been told ‘could happen’.
So much of the energy and attention that we expend each day is wasted on things that in 5 years or maybe even 5 hours we won’t even remember or think about….

Same with the ‘news’… all the terror the media pump into this world… the scary headlines… the predictions of imminent impending doom… how often is it actually the truth of what unfolds?

The last 5 years have shown most of us that what we are told about what unfolds in this world is not the truth.
It’s a lie. Designed to make someone somewhere a whole lot of money.
And the deeper you go down the rabbit holes the more you realise that most of what you are told, what you have feared, what you know is in fact a lie.
A system.
That feeds on your fear, your money and your needs.

The pharmaceutical industry is the best example of this… if you were healthy it would collapse. If we no longer took medications billions and billions would be lost in profit.

And those rabbit holes are also part of the gig… yes.. we have to know to wake up. And we we have to wake up to change things. And there are many of us out there who want this change, who are trying or orchestrate this change….
But we have to be careful … we can get stuck in those loops and lose our minds to the absolute depravity of what this world holds beneath the surface!

So to me this is the answer.
Nature.
The earth.
The truth of what I am.
A part of all of it.
An eternal being… a part of the cycle and dance of life.

And while I’m sitting here feeling the brush of the wind through my hair.., the warm sun kissing my face… listening to those birds chirping… all is peaceful. All is ok.
