Today, we welcomed our June induction group! After spending the last two months recruiting and interviewing for these roles, it was fantastic to officially welcome our newest colleagues as they begin their journey with us. This group brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and different perspectives, including people from teaching backgrounds, students studying Health and Social Care, family members of individuals with Autism and some with backgrounds in Occupational Therapy.
We were also joined by Lennox, who completed his induction with us in March. It was great to have him there to share his experiences of working in our homes, talk about his journey so far, and answer questions from the group. Hearing directly from someone who has recently been through the same process was invaluable.
Over the past two months, we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know many of these individuals through the recruitment process, so it was wonderful to see them all together today as they took the next step and officially join us.
Over the next three weeks, they will be taking part in our training and we look forward to supporting them as they develop their skills, build relationships and settle into their new roles.
