It’s about knowing what you’re actually taking.

If someone is selling you “retatrutide” through a gym, social media or another unofficial route, there’s no guarantee it contains what the label says.

You may not know:
• what’s actually in it
• the strength/dose
• whether it’s sterile
• how it’s been stored

With injectable medicines, that’s a serious risk.

Please don’t be embarrassed to ask a pharmacist or doctor. We’re here to keep you safe, not lecture you.

Wanting to lose weight isn’t something to be ashamed of. Just make sure the medicine you’re using is what you think it is.

BLACK MARKET WEIGHT LOSS MEDICATIONS

What is actually in that syringe?? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Is it regulated? 👎

Do you have a prescriber to contact if something goes wrong or you have side effects? 👎

Is it safe?? Absolutely not

Picture 1: Retatrutide is still in clinical trials in USA. It will hopefully be on the market in 2027! IT HAS NOT BEEN APPROVED YET

Picture 2: Tirzepatide 20mg??? Maximum dose is 15mg once weekly.

Picture 3: Semaglutide 5mg??? Maximum dose is 2.4mg once weekly

Picture 4: This is possibly the worst one. Sibutramine is an illegal and banned substance in the UK due to its significantly increased risk of heart attacks and strokes, leading to the withdrawal of its brand name, Reductil, in 2010.

Pancreatitis is not a new side effect of GLP medication. It is also a potential side effect of weight loss (whether you are using weight loss medication or not), gallstones, or excessive alcohol consumption.

It is rare, thankfully.
