Primal Mvmnt Fitness & Nutrition

Primal Mvmnt Fitness & Nutrition COVID 19 Update:

Keeping you safe and healthy is our number one priority. If so, you’ll be unable to enter the facility. Cleaning and disinfecting. Ventilation.

That's why we're introducing new cleaning procedures and social distancing measures, which have been guided by the experts at UK Active, the UK government and Public Health England. Before entering the facility, you’ll be asked if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or have recently returned from a country where you are currently required to self-isolate. Members will be encouraged to sanitise their

hands at reception and additional hand sanitiser units have been positioned at key areas across the facility. We'll be sanitising gym equipment throughout the day and cleaning the entire facility every night. Social distancing. You'll see new social distancing signs around the gym, including one-way systems where possible. We're also limiting the number of members in each area. Changes to classes. We're running smaller classes to keep everyone safe and the classes will be shorter than usual (50 mins) to make sure we have enough time to clean the studios. ALL consultations are being performed remotely through video or phone call. Protecting you and our teams. We've installed plastic shields at our reception desks and we'll be providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to our staff if necessary. We are opening windows, our large facility sliding door and using antiviral fogging kit.

A good plan shouldn’t only work on a good week.

Work runs late.
The kids need you.
Family plans change.
Your energy dips.

That’s real life.

And if your routine falls apart every time the week gets messy, the problem might not be your motivation — it might be the plan.

A realistic routine should have enough flexibility to keep you moving forward, even when things don’t go perfectly.

That might mean a shorter session, moving a workout, or simply doing what you can instead of giving up on the week completely.

Consistency isn’t about getting everything right.

It’s about having a plan that works around real life.

Comment 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 and we’ll send you a simple first step.

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t knowing you want to make a change.

It’s knowing where to start.

When life is already busy with work, family and everything else, trying to figure out training on your own can feel like another job.

You don’t need the perfect plan.

You need a realistic starting point, some guidance and a routine you can actually stick to.

Start simple. Build consistency. Then progress from there. 💪

If you feel like you’re ready to get going but aren’t sure what to do next, drop us a message and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Training after 30 isn’t just about lifting heavier weights. 💪

It’s about staying strong enough for real life.

Carrying the shopping.
Keeping up with the kids.
Enjoying your sport.
Doing the jobs around the house.
Feeling confident in what your body can do.

The numbers in the gym can improve along the way, but they’re not the whole point.

Strength training is about helping you stay capable, active and independent for the things that matter to you.

Save this reminder for the days you need to remember why you train. 🖤

Fallen out of your routine? You do 𝗻𝗼𝘁 need to start again from scratch.

When life gets busy, it is easy to think the answer is to suddenly train more, eat perfectly and change everything at once.

Usually, that just makes getting started feel harder.

Instead, ask yourself:

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸?

Two training sessions.
A short daily walk.
A bit more structure around meals.

Small, repeatable actions help you rebuild momentum without needing a dramatic reset.

Our latest blog looks at why getting back into a routine does not have to be all or nothing.

🌟 𝟮 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗮𝗼𝗺𝗶 & 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝘃𝗺𝗻𝘁 🌟

Two years ago, Naomi and Jane joined Primal Mvmnt together with a simple goal — to get fitter, become more active and spend some quality time together along the way.

As mother and daughter, training together has given them something positive to share each week, while building more strength, fitness and consistency over time. 🖤

Two years later, they’re still turning up together — and that’s what makes this one worth celebrating.

A massive well done to you both on your 2-year Primal anniversary! 👏

Sometimes getting started is easier when you’ve got someone alongside you.

You do not need to get fit before joining a gym.

A lot of people put off starting because they think they need to lose some weight, improve their fitness or build a bit more confidence first.

But that’s backwards.

You’re not supposed to arrive already fit.

That’s what training and coaching are there to help you build.

You can start with your current fitness, your current confidence and your current experience.

Then you build from there.

You don’t have to keep up with anyone else.

You just need a starting point that works for you.

If you’ve been putting it off because you don’t feel “fit enough”, message us **START** and we’ll help you work out your first step.

Two teams ✌️One beach 🏝️ This weekend 💪

Twelve Primal members are competing at Tribal Clash on Blackpool Sands this Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th Sept— our third year, and the first time we’ve taken two teams.

Team Primal Mvmnt and Team Primal Dark Horses, up against around a thousand athletes on a purpose-built beach arena. Hauling, carrying, climbing, running, swimming. Two days of it.

We’d love a tribe on that beach behind them. If you’ve got nothing on, come down — turn up whenever suits, stay an hour or stay all day. Look for the black gazebo and the Primal Mvmnt feather flags on the beach camp and come and say hello 👋

It’s a proper day out too. Tribal drummers, a DJ all weekend, food, vendors, and one of the best-run events in the country in a stunning spot right on our doorstep.

Members — full timings, tickets and parking info are all in the Primal Mvmnt community group.

September can feel like a natural reset.

The summer is winding down, routines are starting to settle again, and for a lot of people it’s the point where they finally think:

“I need to start doing something for me again.”

That does not mean going all-in, training every day or trying to change everything at once.

It can simply mean taking one positive step.

A couple of sessions each week.
A bit more structure.
Some support and accountability.
A plan that actually fits around work, family and real life.

If September feels like your time to get started, book a **FREE intro** with us and we’ll help you work out a sensible first step.

September doesn’t need to be a fresh start.

You don’t need to undo summer.
You don’t need to suddenly train five times a week.
And you definitely don’t need to wait until everything feels perfect.

For a lot of people, the school holidays just change the rhythm of life.

Kids are off.
Work looks different.
Holidays happen.
Normal routines disappear for a while.

That doesn’t mean you’re back at square one.

As September gets closer, think about one or two things you’d like to put back in place.

A couple of training sessions.
A bit more structure around meals.
Getting to bed a bit earlier.
Having someone keep you accountable.

Keep it simple enough to actually stick.

We’ve put together a blog on why September doesn’t need to be a complete reset — and what you can do instead.

Have a read, and if getting back into a routine is the bit you’re struggling with, message us “𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗧” and we’ll point you in the right direction.
