Blood pressure service.

Who is eligible?
Anyone over 40 who is NOT currently taking medication for high blood pressure.
Anyone under 40, not taking medication for high blood pressure and has a family history of high blood pressure.

What happens during the consultation?
A member of our friendly team will take two blood pressure readings in our private consultation room. The measurement will be recorded and added to your GP record.

What happens if my blood pressure is high?
If available we will over a ABPM - this is a blood pressure monitor which you will wear for at least 12 hours and it will take a measurement every 30 minutes. This will give us and your GP a good overview of your blood pressure throughout the day and night.

To make cervical screening easier and more accessible, the Living Well Service is offering free, private and discreet cervical screening at convenient locations across the borough.

Cervical screening is a quick procedure, checking for certain types of human papillomavirus (HPV) for women aged between 25-64. Regular screening can detect changes early, often before symptoms develop.
