At this point, I'm not entirely sure if I run a healing page or a small zoo.

The girls are in love.
The cats are unimpressed.
The dog is questioning her life choices.

And my heart is completely full 🀍

One of those moments that makes you stop and reflect.

My daughter was sitting with me today, focused on a SEAG paper and all the possibilities that lie ahead of her. Meanwhile, I was REreading *The Absent Father Effect on Daughters* by Susan E. Schwartz.

As a woman who grew up without a father, this book resonates deeply.
It has me reflecting not only on my own story, but on the stories of my own sisters and my mummy too.
The echoes of father absence can travel through generations, shaping how we see ourselves, how we relate to others, and how we navigate through this world.

I see these echoes in the women and men I work with as well.
So many carry wounds they didn't choose, often without realising how far back the roots go.

What strikes me most is that understanding these patterns isn't about blame or shame.

It's about awareness.
It's about compassion for ourselves and those who came before us. And it's about recognising that while the past influences us, it doesn't have to define us.

The more we understand our stories, the more freedom we have to write the next chapter differently. ❀️

Kids are off school today, and I'm soaking up the gift of a slower morning.

I noticed my mind quickly slipping into its familiar pattern of DOING the lists, the tasks, the things that need attention.
But today I'm gently reminding myself that not every moment needs to be productive.
And Sometimes the most important thing is simply to be.

To sit with a tea, To watch the morning unfold. To enjoy the people I love. To trust that rest isn't something I have to earn.

Here's to slower mornings and softer expectations. 🀍

Some weeks just hit harder than others.

The plans don't go the way you hoped. Motivation disappears. Things feel heavier than usual, and sometimes it feels like you're taking one step forward and two steps back.

But here's something worth remembering ! NOTHING is permanent.

The bad day you're having today won't last forever. The difficult week you're battling through is temporary. Life moves in seasons, and just because you're struggling right now doesn't mean you'll stay there.

Give yourself grace.
Rest if you need to.
Reset if you need to.
Start again tomorrow if you need to.

You don't have to have it all figured out today. You just have to keep going.

Better days have a funny way of showing up when you least expect them.

This chapter isn't your whole story. ❀️

Parenting can be such a rollercoaster.

This morning there were tears, fears, and a very reluctant little girl who was convinced she didn't want to go to her martial arts class.

Fast forward an hour and she absolutely loved it, came home full of smiles, and is now excitedly getting ready for a birthday party before heading off to a fun day later.

A reminder that sometimes courage doesn't look fearless. Sometimes it looks like doing the thing anyway, even when your tummy is full of butterflies.

So proud of her today. ❀️

Growth and loss can often feel the same because both require leaving something behind.

A plant loses leaves before new growth appears and us feeling beings aren't always so different.
