Well whats everyone's thoughts on this? 🤔

Over the past 9 years we have seen a very rapid increase in parents coming into our shop with anxious children/young teens, and the common factor is usually social media.

Banning these platforms for younger teens can allow more time to develop without the constant pressure of online comparison and validation. Social media can significantly increase anxiety in young people, especially when they’re exposed to curated “perfect” lives, cyberbullying, and the need to always be available or respond instantly......humans arent built for this constant connection, we need alone time without endless "dings" coming from your pocket.

It also helps reduce exposure to inappropriate or harmful content that children often aren’t emotionally ready to process, even when platforms have age limits in place. A lot of this material is still easy to stumble across, and it can shape attitudes or cause distress before they have the maturity to put it in context.

Just a heads up, the shop will be closed on Monday the 25th for a little break after the madness of organising our 1 year olds birthday party 😅

Mummy and Daddy need a holiday to Greece after this, but a sunny bank holiday in Norn Iron will have to do for now 🙃🌤️

He just slid in and was like, "yo big dogeth, where might me and the home boys find some chill-chews this morn" and i was like "sup Charlie, get a whack of these in ya's" (This totally happened and you cant prove otherwise)
