We wanted to share an update with you about our opening hours and, more importantly, where we’re taking the business next. ❤️

From Monday 14th of September, we’ll be will be trialing a change to our physical shop opening days, which will be Fridays and Saturdays only.

This is a positive step for us and one we’ve taken after looking carefully at customer shopping habits, and how we can make the best use of our time, working more efficiently and continuing to grow the business in the right direction as we approach year 10.

Rather than being focused on the shop being open six days a week, we’re putting much more time and energy into our website and online service, making it easier for you to browse and order from us whenever it suits you..... not just when the shop doors are open. 🤓

🚚 We’re also introducing FREE local delivery, giving our local customers another easy way to shop with us from the comfort of home.

Our Friday and Saturday shop days will remain an important part of what we do, but this new approach means we can give you the best of both worlds...... a welcoming & informative shop experience at the weekend, alongside a much bigger focus on our online service and local delivery throughout the week.

We’re really excited about this next chapter and what it will allow us to do for the business and, most importantly, for our customers. ❤️

Our new opening hours:
🗓️ Friday – 10am-4pm
🗓️ Saturday – 10am-3pm

And remember, our website is open 24/7, with collection available throughout the week!

Generally, we love a wee cheeky bank holiday Monday off, but today, we are open as normal! 🫠

Unfortunately, its finally happened..........our 'end of year' has landed on a bank holiday 🥹......so il be up to my eyes in paper work, master stock checks (if you have ever counted single packets of skins you'll know this pain haha), and invoice printing.

🚨 CBD ISN’T THE ONLY NATURAL INGREDIENT UNDER THE SPOTLIGHT ANYMORE

The battle over CBD regulation has shown us what can happen when natural ingredients and supplements come under increasing regulatory scrutiny. For years now, big pharma have tried their hardest to strangle the CBD industry with absurd regulations and restrictions under the "Novel foods" umbrella. And now, CBD isn’t alone.

Ingredients such as ashwagandha, Garcinia cambogia, green tea extracts, certain mushroom extracts and other botanical ingredients are currently being reviewed or assessed by UK authorities. (The FSA) At the same time, new rules around novel foods are bringing more natural ingredients under a formal authorisation system.

This doesn’t mean these ingredients are being banned, but it does mean the rules around what we can buy, sell and consume could become increasingly restrictive......lowering suggested dose below the effective dose threshold in several cases.

For small businesses, natural-health retailers and, most importantly, consumers, this matters.....alot!

We believe people should have access to safe, properly regulated natural products, and that regulation should be proportionate, evidence-based and transparent, rather than unnecessarily restricting consumer choice in an obvious attempt to push pills over plants 💊🌿
