We’re looking for more good people to join our Care at Home team across Ards and North Down 💙
Full-time and part-time Community Care Worker roles are currently available in Newtownards, Bangor, Holywood, Comber, Millisle, Donaghadee and the surrounding areas.
This is a role built around people. You’ll visit individuals in their own homes, helping them feel comfortable, supported and able to continue with the routines that matter to them.
One visit might involve helping someone get ready for the day. Another could mean preparing a meal, supporting them with medication, offering practical help or simply taking the time to have a conversation.
As you get to know the people you support, you become a familiar face they can feel comfortable with and rely upon. That consistency can mean a great deal to them and their families.
We currently have two working patterns available:
• Full-time roles worked over five shifts per week
• Part-time roles worked over two or three shifts per week
Our service operates between 7am and 11pm, with alternate weekends included in the rota.
Previous care experience isn’t essential. We’re looking for people who are reliable, patient and willing to learn. Full training will be provided before you begin, along with continued support once you’re working in the community.
As the role involves travelling between people’s homes, you will need to be a driver with access to a car for work. Please note that sponsorship is not available for these roles.
Benefits include:
• £13.40 per hour Monday to Friday
• £13.60 per hour at weekends
• Enhanced bank holiday rates
• 25p per mile mileage allowance
• £200 welcome bonus, terms apply
• Free training and AccessNI
• Perks Card discounts
• Workplace pension
Whether you’ve worked in care before or are considering it for the first time, we’d love to hear from you 💙
