‘Love your Jugs 2026’ launches a week tomorrow on 5th June

Thank you so much to everyone who has already reserved their jugs. I will be contacting you over next few days to get your delivery details

Don’t forget these are limited editions and I won’t be doing more until next summer

I will have than at my beach hut and also online from next Friday

This year I will also have tea towels (£12), larger jugs (£35) and signs (£10) all with the ‘Love your Jugs’ theme

It’s been stunning down at the huts the last few days with masses of people enjoying the wonderful weather - thank you if you popped by ❤️

This Monday I am highlighting a lovely local lady with an incredible artistic talent

Mandy from Creelend Artwork unique handmade art made from recycled lobster creels paints amazing seaside scenes and creatures on old recycled lobster creels, a truly unique process - they are so detailed and colourful and often include 3 dimensional items

I have shown some of Mandy’s pieces below and you can find her on Facebook, Instagram, Etsy, and she also exhibits her work at home during North Berwick Fringe by The Sea in August

Mandy is regularly uploading new pieces of unique art so she is definitely worth a follow

I have an amazing small business to promote this week - I luckily met the lovely Susie through , Theo’s community of small businesses a few years back and have followed her ever since

Susie hand makes wonderful hats and fascinators and her business is called Susie Rodgers Millinery - her designs are truly stunning as you can see below - and if you have a wedding or special occasion coming up Susie is your lady

Susie also runs fabulous workshops throughout the year - mostly in the West where she is based where you get an opportunity to learn some millinery skills from the lady herself

Don’t normally wear make up to my beach hut. Today is a very special day though as we are being filmed for an upcoming More4 programme about Scotland’s East coast. Very exciting !!

It’s a big day at the harbour this weekend (Sat) with the East Lothian Food and Drink harbour market. There are so many amazing businesses taking part - the beach huts will also be open, apart from mine as I am away this weekend on a last minute trip - enjoy and don’t forget to get your cookies 😋 Denny’s Cookies

Hope everyone has had an amazing Bank Holiday weekend and the sun shone for you ☀️

This week for my small business focus, I have chosen a wonderful business run by 2 amazing ladies - sisters Arabella and Charlotte, RAVEN Botanicals is a fabulous high performance skin care business that is growing from strength to strength - it’s run from rural East Lothian and the girls do everything themselves and have won many rewards and accolades

I met Arabella and Charlotte through Theo Paphitis’ as we were both winners and I have enjoyed watching them gain so many loyal customers over the years

The ladies have a great website explaining the benefits of each of their products - I have highlighted 2 below - but there are so many more ❤️ for you to check out they regularly attend markets locally and in wider Scotland
