🤎 A HEARTFELT THANK YOU FROM US BOTH 🤎

Gena and I have been absolutely overwhelmed by all the lovely comments you gorgeous people have been leaving since our announcement.

Reading every single one has reminded us just what a beautiful community we have all helped to build together. We have loved getting to know you, working alongside you, watching friendships form and seeing so many of you support one another along the way.

You have all played a part in making Soul Sanctuary Events what it is, and for that, we will always be grateful.

But don't worry, it's not a complete goodbye from us both… it's more of a "see you later!"

So please, keep visiting our page, keep in touch with the wonderful contacts and friendships you've made, keep supporting one another and keep doing what you all do so incredibly well.

The connections, kindness and memories we've made together will always mean so much to us. Thank you for being part of our journey and for making this chapter so special.

💛 AND THAT’S A WRAP FOR SOUL SANCTUARY EVENTS! 💛

After lots of thought, Gena and I have made the difficult decision to step away from the fayres following our October event and turn our attention to some new and exciting projects we’ve been dreaming about for a long time.

Soul Sanctuary has been such a special journey. Our aim was always to bring people together, support small businesses and independent therapists, and create a warm, welcoming space for connection, friendship and community. Looking back, we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved.

Unfortunately, with the rising costs of running events and some of the challenges that come with organising them, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to make the fayres financially viable. As much as we love what we do, we feel it’s the right time to close this chapter and leave on a high after such a gorgeous October event.

To every stallholder, therapist and visitor who has supported us — THANK YOU! Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or joined us along the way, you’ve helped make Soul Sanctuary what it is, and we’re truly grateful.

Soul Sanctuary has always been about more than fayres. It’s been about community, connection, kindness and bringing wonderful people together. We hope you’ll take away some lovely memories and friendships, just as we will.

This isn’t necessarily forever goodbye! You’ll still see us around, and who knows what the future might hold? Never say never!

For now, we’re embracing new adventures and wishing every one of you continued success with your businesses, therapies and future plans.

Thank you for being part of the Soul Sanctuary family. You’ve made this journey so special, and we’ll always be grateful.

A LITTLE TRANSPARENCY: WHY DO WE CHARGE £3 ENTRY TO OUR HOLISTIC FAYRES?

When Gena and I started Soul Sanctuary Events, our dream was to bring together all the things we love: the holistic, the spiritual, the spooky and the wonderfully different, while creating something special for our local community.

As tutors, we also wanted to give newly qualified students a space to practise their skills, build confidence and promote their fledgling businesses.

Our aim was never to make a profit. It was to make a difference.

So, why £3 entry? The cost of hiring our venue continues to rise, and at times we barely cover the hall hire. Any money left over goes straight back into promoting our events through paid advertising, leaflets and other marketing to support our stallholders and attract visitors.

We know some organisers can access funding or sponsorship to cover their costs. We currently receive no outside financial support, so our entry fee helps us keep these events going.

Behind every fayre are hours of planning and hard work, alongside running our own small businesses. We certainly aren't getting rich from this!

Our aim has always been to bring people together, support small businesses and create opportunities for our local community.

Thank you to everyone who visits, exhibits, books a treatment, supports our stallholders or shares our posts. Every bit of support helps us continue doing what we love.

IT'S TOMORROW! ARE YOU PLANNING YOUR VISIT?

It’s nearly time! Tomorrow we’ll be opening the doors to our Soul Sanctuary Holistic Wellbeing Fayre, and we would absolutely love to see you there.

Are you planning to treat yourself to a lovely treatment, fancy a reading, or simply want to come along and have a good browse around our amazing stalls?

We have such a fabulous mix of stallholders bringing crystals, candles, handmade gifts, wellbeing products, crafts, spiritual goodies and so much more — honestly, there really is something for everyone!

And don’t forget… we have 50 goody bags to give away to our visitors! They’re first come, first served, so get there early if you want one!

So why not make tomorrow your little bit of “me time”?

WHAT DOES YOUR £3 ENTRY GET YOU? LET'S BE TRANSPARENT.

Yes, our entry is £3, and we want to be open about why. But it's about so much more than simply coming through the door.

Your entry helps us continue bringing together our wonderful community of small businesses, giving them a space to showcase what they do, meet new customers and grow their businesses. Supporting small businesses means supporting real people, local families and people's dreams.

And there's a little something extra for you, too!

The first 50 visitors will receive a goody bag filled with treats, special offers and little surprises from our amazing stallholders, along with a couple of gifts from Gena and me as a thank you for supporting Soul Sanctuary Events.

You'll also have the opportunity to enter our prize draw. We'll need your email address to contact the winner. If you'd like to receive our future news and updates, you can separately choose to join our mailing list.

We also want to be clear that this is a not-for-profit event. We don't run these fayres to make money. With rising venue costs and the expense of promoting events, we sometimes barely cover the cost of hiring the hall. Any money left over goes straight back into supporting and promoting our events and the businesses involved.

We're also delighted to be supporting a couple of charities at this fayre because giving back to our community matters to us.

Gena and I started Soul Sanctuary Events because we wanted to bring people together, support small businesses and create something positive for our community. That's still our purpose today.

So, if you join us, you're not just paying £3 to enter a fayre. You're helping local businesses be seen, supporting a community event and playing a small part in helping others thrive.

We hope you'll come along, show your support and discover something wonderful.
