*rant incoming*

I received a leaflet through the door from a political party that i've never heard of before called 'Party of Women' who's policies may as well have been quoted verbatim from a J.K Rowling tweet.

"no woman has a p***s"
"no man has a va**na"
"there's no such thing as non binary"
"transitioning is child abuse"
"women's sport is bring given away to mediocre men who pretend to be us"
"children are being indoctrinated into this nonsensical ideology at school in PSHE, as well as the entire curriculum"

Now don't get me wrong, i believe everyone has a right to feel safe in any/every situation they're in but i've said it before and i'll say it again and again and again, if people think people are transitioning (specifically male to female) just for the opportunity to sexually assault someone is insane amounts of life changing efforts to go through. If someone is a c**t who wants to SA someone, they'd just do it without all the extra steps!

I am lucky enough to have have friends who are CIS gendered, non-binary, FTM, MTF, straight, gay, bi, ACE etc so maybe i'm biased because i'm less likely to be SA'd than a woman but why should i or anyone else give a f**k what someone's got in between their legs? If i like a person, i like them for who they are, not what's in their pants!

The rhetoric of children shouldn't be taught about other gender identities than the binary is so backwards, especially in this day and age where they're more likely to come across someone who isn't CIS gendered than ever before.

The most laughable thing though is the leaflet in question is printed in the trans colours so either they're oblivious or who ever designed it sneaked that element in as a little f**k you.

This day has been the subject of a joke for about 15 years of my life. When I formed my first band at 14, we would joke about playing here - but it was genuinely just a joke, we didn't believe it was possible, who would?

We f**king did it boys. We f**king did it.
Thank you so much to every one of you, my friends, my family, my fans. You are the ones who made this happen, I am in debt to you all -
and I intend on paying some of that back this weekend.
For all the ones who didn’t make the night!

Whitley Bay, we are heading your way! 🤞

Following the success of both STACK schemes in Newcastle and Sunderland we are excited to announce our plans re-purpose the Empress Ballroom in Whitley Bay, which was originally part of the town's Spanish City. We hope to return the 113-year old building to its former place at the forefront of the town's entertainment scene!

The STACK model is a creative approach to restore vitality and viability on the high street providing visitors with a desirable place to go for food, drink and entertainment, encouraging a varied and active day and evening economy.

We have welcomed hundreds of people from Whitley Bay to our sites in Newcastle and Sunderland, and following calls by customers to bring a scheme to North Tyneside, we hope this is welcome news and that you will be able to enjoy STACK on your doorstep soon.
