POSTURE STORY :

He couldn’t walk,
had nerve compression,
wore titanium boot,
then 2 years later … 
Thank you to Nicky and John to share this story and trust my expertise to help John further 🙏
This reel is a quick glimpse into my client John’s life two years ago, when FOUR 4(!) discs in his lower back pr*****ed.

The nerve compression around L5 caused foot drop, numbness through the sole of his foot and loss of sensation in his toes.

His life changed massively.

He was wearing a titanium boot, splints and different straps and supports just to keep his foot and ankle in position. For longer distances, he sometimes needed a walking stick.

He was in a lot of pain and discomfort, but somehow never missed a day of work and kept moving.

Then John got a Christmas present from his wife, my lovely student Nicky — sessions with me.

He has trained with me every week since.

Today, the sensation in his toes has returned. He can stand and balance on that foot and he can now do poses like Warrior 3 and Tree pose.

From a titanium boot to standing on one leg.
I can retire now 🤣💁🏻‍♀️

Feeling Blessed 😇 after being stung by a wasp 🐝 1 hr before my class 🤣 in my right foot so I couldn’t walk or drive ..

After nearly cancelling my class tonight I’ve decided ‘if you can breathe - you can do yoga’ and went ahead with it.

I’ve realised how amazing my students are!
I was offered to get a lift to yoga by one of the lovely students AND she helped me by taking my dog for a walk too! I antiseptic cream and antihistamines and real encouragement: ‘ it’s not fatal’ 😆

Teaching yoga is much more that just practicing yoga. It’s practicing kindness 🫶🏻

Class was tough and hot 🥵 as they said but I guess this is what I’m very well known for 💁🏻‍♀️😆
