Our plan to reopen on Monday 8th March has been delayed until the following week and we will return on Monday 15th March.

That’s a wrap, we are now closed until the
6th January.

What a challenging year this has been, we had some up’s and plenty downs but we have managed to stay open as much as we possibly could and this was only possible due to our staff and their dedication 😀

We also want to thank our customers, old and new for their custom, we wouldn’t be here otherwise

Melody Gowns has begun producing PPE garments to support local North East Trusts.

Our factory in North Shields, which usually supplies luxury hairdressing gowns and aprons has been turned around to start making gowns to support frontline medical staff.

In response to the Prime Minister’s announcement, we have made the decision to close our factory.

The safety and well-being of our staff and customers will always be our number one priority. We believe it is absolutely the right thing to do.

We really appreciate the support we have received from our all of our customers. Also I would like to say a huge thank you to the entire team for their dedication, hard work and commitment to the business during these challenging times.

We also acknowledge our continuing responsibilities to our customers; we therefore have a limited administrative function operating to offer customer support. Please continue to contact us through the usual channels. It may take slightly longer to respond than normal however at this time.

We are continually monitoring the situation and the latest government advice and will follow any recommendations as they are announced. . We will continue to update you thorough our website and social

Our thoughts go out to all of you who have been affected by this unprecedented situation and we wish you, your business and your family the very best throughout this very difficult time and thank you once again for your continued support.

The coronavirus pandemic that began in China and spread rapidly around the globe is continuing to cause major disruption to businesses and economies worldwide.

At what is an uncertain time, we understand that everyone will have differing concerns and priorities. We would like to advise our clients at present we are operating as normal. The safety of our customers and staff is our priority therefore we have made some small changes to hygiene procedures in our showroom, offices and factory premises based on current government guidelines which we will revise over the next few days.

We wish to reassure our customers that as a business we have always had an embedded emergency contingency plan in place, which includes a comprehensive business continuity plan to ensure we are able to provide an uninterrupted service should we be hit by any major disruption.

Our staff are remaining optimistic and morale is extremely high throughout the business and for this we are very grateful. We hope this is reflected in our interactions with our customers over the coming weeks. If you have any specific concerns or queries please contact us using the usual channels. Should you wish to speak to any senior directors please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff.
