đź’šBefore colonic hydrotherapy, I need to know more than when you last opened your bowels.
We may talk about your usual bowel pattern, medication and laxatives, previous surgery, medical conditions, changes you've noticed, nutritional and fluid intake, lifestyle and what has brought you for treatment.
Some of the questions might not seem directly related to your bowel — but they're there for a reason.
Part of my assessment is establishing whether colonic hydrotherapy is appropriate for you and whether there is anything we need to discuss further before proceeding, and sometimes the appropriate decision is not to treat.
That's why I won't skip the consultation, even if you've had colonic hydrotherapy somewhere else before.
Your consultation isn't something to get through before your treatment starts.
It's part of your treatment.
And yes, we will talk about your bowel movements (poo) — after all, they're part of the reason you're coming to see me.
