So, here’s another new edition to the Tub of Scrub range. 100% natural and vegan friendly! This one packs a punch with Organic Shea Butter!

Welcome to Tub of Scrub!

Tub of Scrub has been developed in-house for their waxing clients to use between appointments. Exfoliating and moisturising is a must for all waxers as over time your hairs become weaker and finer and will struggle to push through any layers of dead skin. Exfoliating and moisturising really is the key to the best results!

It was important that the scrub was vegan, cruelty free and the packaging recyclable as these are the ethics Bikini Wax Shack already stands by.

This scrub will also work for anyone wanting softer, smoother skin, it is not just for waxers! The sugar will exfoliate dead skin cells away leaving the skin able to absorb the moisturising properties of the mango butter and coconut oil.

Lime essential oil provides a zesty scent along with a subtle mango fragrance making this scrub simply delicious!

Weather plays a huge part in our skin condition. In the Summer it can dry out, in the winter it can dry out.. you get what we are saying.. if your skin isn’t looked after it gets dry!⁣

How to Exfoliate with Tub of Scrub⁣

To get the best results from Tub of Scrub this is how you should use it.⁣
⁣
Shower as normal and when you would normally step out of the shower reach for your Tub of Scrub. Your pores will be open due to the steam so this is the best time to exfoliate.⁣
⁣
Shake any excess water off your hands! Dripping water into sugar will cause the sugar to clump into hard pieces. This will also introduce bacteria into the tub which we don’t want!⁣
⁣
Give the tub a little shake in case any of the oils have collected at the bottom.⁣
⁣
Dip your fingers into the pot so the sugar sticks to your damp fingers.. This will be enough to do one arm or leg.. You really don’t need a lot!⁣
⁣
Rub the sugar gently in a circular motion over your skin, you don’t need to apply a lot of pressure. The sugar will do the work for you!⁣
⁣
Continue to rub until the sugar has dissolved - if you are getting bored waiting for it to dissolve you are using too much! Keep going until you have just the oil left on your skin.. It might feel a little slimy at this point - that’s the Mango Butter!⁣
⁣
Continue to dip and scrub until you have completed your whole body. Concentrate on areas like your knees, elbows, back of thighs and don’t forget your armpits! ⁣
⁣
You can also use Tub of Scrub on your face.. Just go gentle though and use less here than you did for other areas.. Obviously avoid your eye area (if you do get it in your eyes rinse with plenty of clean water).⁣
⁣
Once you are scrubbed all over, just leave the oils on your skin for a little while longer.. Think of it the same as a hair conditioner for your body! Now you can switch the shower back on and rinse off.. You don’t need to wash it off, just rinse!⁣
⁣
Towel dry as normal. At this point you will be feeling pretty clean and smooth.. But wait a few hours and you will start to feel soft, like really soft! This is due to the oils having different absorption rates.. And guess what? It gets better and better each time you use it!⁣

If you wax, you should be exfoliating 2-3 days after your waxing appointment and then right through until 24 hours before your next appointment. ⁣
⁣
We recommend using Tub of Scrub every day for the first week after waxing then every other day for the best results. You should not feel the need to moisturise as well due to the nourishing effects of our scrub but if you suffer with dry skin you should moisturise on the days you are not scrubbing.⁣
⁣
If you are not a waxer and shave or use removal creams you can start to use Tub of scrub straight away. Again, we recommend using Tub of Scrub every day for the first week then every other day for the best results.⁣
