Set within a beautiful woodland setting, this unique outdoor art trail will celebrate creativity, nature, and community. We're looking for artists, illustrators, sculptors, photographers, writers, musicians, performers, textile artists, installation creators, and anyone with a creative passion to help bring this magical event to life.

As we get closer to the summer solstice, the days grow longer and there can be a sense that we need to fit more in, do more, and make the most of every moment.
A crystal I often reach for during busy periods is Blue Lace Agate. Its soft blue tones are a simple reminder to slow down, find a little calm amongst the busyness, and focus on what’s important rather than trying to do everything at once.

Sometimes the most productive thing we can do is enjoy the season as it is.

Gardening update from someone who mostly makes it up as they go along…
The forgotten bulbs came and went, but now the wildflowers are really growing. It’s not tidy, it’s not planned, and it’s definitely not perfect. But it’s full of colour, buzzing with life, and every day there’s something new to spot.

Bees are especially fond of blue and purple flowers, so if you’re not sure what to plant for pollinators, they’re a great place to start. Many pollinator-friendly plants will also have a bee or pollinator badge on the label, making them easy to spot at the garden centre.

It’s also worth leaving a few weeds and wild corners if you can. They might not look glamorous, but they provide food and shelter for all sorts of insects and help support a healthy garden ecosystem.

Nature knows what it’s doing. I’m just along for the ride. 🌱🐝

On 1st May, in the UK, the month began with a full moon. Now, on 31 May, another full moon rises, making it a Blue Moon, the name given to the second full moon within a single calendar month. Despite the name, it won’t appear blue; the rarity comes from timing, not colour. Because the lunar cycle lasts around 29½ days, a Blue Moon only occurs every few years.

This year’s Blue Moon is a quiet reminder that even the most familiar rhythms of nature can still surprise us. A rare glow above familiar landscapes, inviting us to pause, look up, and share a moment beneath the same sky. ✨
