Covid-19 Information
What are our plans for re-opening?
Great news, we are re-opening week commencing 13th July 2020!!
What treatments are currently available?
At the moment the government will not permit treatments to the face, we are unsure when this restriction will be lifted. Any treatments not to the face however are now permitted.
When will treatments that are not currently available become available?
At the moment we do not know when restrictions will be lifted but as soon as more information becomes available, there will be an update.
I had my appointment cancelled due to lockdown, how do I get re-booked?
We have created a list of clients who had an appointment booked for the initial three weeks of lockdown. We will be contacting you via telephone on Monday 13th July/Tuesday 14th July to get you booked back in. If this applies to you, please await our call, we haven’t forgotten you! However, please note, if your appointment was for a treatment to the face, we are still not able to rearrange this due to the restrictions which remain in place (if you did have a treatment to the face cancelled, as soon as the restriction is lifted, then we will be in contact)
I didn’t have an appointment cancelled but I’d like to make one.
All the usual booking channels (phone, email, website, social media etc) will be back open as usual from 10:00 on Wednesday 15th July 2020. There reason for this slight delay is so that we can get anybody who had their booking cancelled back in the diary before lines open. Everybody’s booking is really important to us, we just need a few days to catch up with anybody who had a cancellation. Please bear with us during this busy time.
What special measures will be in place for my appointment and do I need to bring anything?
Don’t worry, we will have everything in place to keep you safe. There are just a few things we ask you to bear in mind when you come along: -
- Please come alone, please do not bring children along with you
- Please do not attend if you feel unwell and consult current self-isolation guidelines
- Face masks will be compulsory (we can provide these if you don’t have your own)
- Please don’t come earlier than your appointment time (or if you are slightly early, please wait in the car) as waiting facilities will have to be suspended
- Only pre-arranged appointments can be accepted at this moment
What will The Beauty Project do to keep me safe?
In addition to existing hygiene/infection practices, detailed Covid-19 policies and Risk Assessments have been produced to ensure that the safety and wellbeing of you and our staff remains priority. Briefly, these measures include: -
- Therapists will be wearing visors and any other appropriate PPE
- Social distancing will be in place observing the 2m rule except during one-to-one treatments
- The highest standard of hygiene and inter-organisation social distancing will be observed by therapists
- A hand sanitising station will be in place for use on entry and exit of the clinic
- We can’t offer refreshments at this time sorry
- All treatment stations shall be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before and after each appointment

Lastly, we’d like to say a huge thank you to all of those who have sent messages of support and well wishes during lockdown.
We’ve missed you!
