Rest is such a vital component to being healthy which we can so often disregard as indulgent or make no space for because we jam out diaries full of activity, jobs and tasks.

Past me would have felt guilty to chill because it would have felt like a waste of time to not be productive, and I’ll admit…I used to push myself too hard. But sometimes the most productive thing you can do it give yourself the grace to rest.

When we think of rest we think of sleep, crashing in front of the TV or sitting with with a cuppa….but it’s important to consider how we can rest our mind, body and soul, whether that be time in nature, reading a book, time with family, or cultivating joy.

I am manifesting some big sh*t this year and that means i am on my A game during the week busting out all the masculine energy….but I recognise I need to bring a little yin to my yang, a little feminine energy…and just take some time to pause, because that’s when the real magic happens ✨

Did you know today is “Quitters Day”?

Today is the day that most people ditch their New Year’s Resolutions.

For me, the key to achieving what I set out to do is discipline and showing up for yourself even when you don’t feel like it. You have to let go of perfectionism but you do need to get a hold of consistency!

Discipline isn’t about punishing yourself … it’s about self-trust. Do you trust yourself to be the person you say you want to be?

Showing up when motivation fades gives your brain the message that you are worth it!!!

So today I challenge you:
💪🏽 don’t let this be Quitters Day for you
💪🏽 trust yourself to keep going
💪🏽 let go of perfection and just do what you can

If you fall off track….you don’t need to scrap your goals, just get back on track with small actions! It’s the compound effect of small actions that is going to get you to where you want to be! ✨

Spending the past two weeks on holiday with my family has been the perfect opportunity to reflect on 2024—the highs, the lows, and the challenges. Every experience, big or small, has shaped me into who I am today. ✨

I’m not one to set big New Year’s resolutions, as they often don’t stand the test of time. Instead, I focus on gaining clarity about what I want in life and continuously refining my goals and actions throughout the year. The start of a new year simply brings a fresh wave of energy and focus.

I am entering 2025 feeling strong, healthy, clear minded, balanced, energised, happy, resilient and radiant and that is all because of the daily actions I take, the conscious decisions that I make, what I say yes to, what I say no to….doing the things my future self will thank me for.

My tip for 2025: Instead of setting unrealistic health goals, focus on your daily habits and aim for just a 1% improvement each day. Small, consistent changes add up to meaningful transformation over time.

You want to wake up feeling energised, confident and ready to take on the day but instead you feel sluggish, drained, frustrated and unsure where you are going wrong. I get it…I have been there!!

The 3 biggest mistakes I see women making:

1. Over-complicating Nutrition - you are trying every diet trend, cutting out foods you love and tracking everything you eat. The problem? These rigid approaches create stress, unhealthy eating habits and a disconnect from your body’s natural cues

✨ The Fix: in Reclaim Your Radiance we simplify nutrition, guiding you to choose foods that energise you and support your hormones, without the obsession and overwhelm

2. Doing TOO much, TOO fast - you think the key to results is doing MORE, more workouts, more restrictions, more work, more pushing through. THEN and NOW - WOW!! 🤩

One of my beautiful clients is starting to reap the rewards of her investment into her health. She was stuck in a cycle of taking antibiotics for her skin and every time she came off them her skin flared even worse…she didn’t know which way to turn!

We have worked together to understand the underlying issues which have been impacting her skin and she has been consistently taking steps to:
- nourish her body with the nutrients she needs
- balance her gut microbiome after many antibiotics
- help her hormones
- reduce inflammation
- to shift her mindset
- to build her resilience to stress
- to minimise toxin exposure
- to support her digestive, immune and liver health
- to support her nervous system

When hormones are out of balance, cholesterol levels can rise….so believe me when I say there is much more to consider in regard to what’s causing your cholesterol to increase than eating too many eggs!!!

🌱1% Better Every Week: How Small Habits Lead to Big Changes** 🌱

We often believe that change has to be big and drastic to be meaningful, but the truth is that consistent, small improvements can have a huge impact over time. That’s why I focus on daily 1% habits— small, achievable actions that, when done regularly, lead to massive transformation in our health and well-being. It’s not about getting your small habits perfect every-time…life sometimes gets in the way…but small consistent habits have a compound effect and that’s where the magic in improving your health lies.

Here are a few examples of my daily/weekly 1% habits:

1. 🌅 morning light into my eyes - wakes me up & sets my circadian code for the day
2. 💧 electrolytes in my first drink of the day - cellular hydration
3. 🌱 🫐 adding antioxidants to protect my cells from oxidative stress & damage
4. 🏃‍♀️ walking (and/or skating, weights , yoga) Just gotta move
5. 💫Walking meditations - great way to stack habits..something magical happens when you combine the two….goosebumps every single time ✨
6. I LOVE an arrowword (it’s a family thing) it’s just part of my morning routine…nice way to test my brain/get into my flow state
7. 🫑 Adding extra nutrients - each time you eat it is an opportunity to provide your body with some info! So get some extra veg/fruit/seeds/nuts in there…super boost your plate!
8. 🍎 Pomodoro technique - look it up. Helps me focus and get tasks complete without distraction
9. Gua-sha - my day isn’t complete without it. It improves circulation and delivery of nutrients to my face 😍


Not much on their own BUT the compounding effect of these small habits adds up over time to create lasting, positive change. 🕰️ Every week, your healthy habits make you a little bit better — and before you know it, those small habits have turned into life-changing routines. 🌟
