Create and Unwind with us this October
At
The Yoga Tree Norwich

We have teamed up to create a day to channel the energy of the Hindu Goddess Saraswati, the revered Hindu deity of knowledge, music, arts, wisdom, and speech.

Through both a yoga session led by Tara and a posy-making session led by Amber, we aim to create a day where you are able to express your own creativity through unwinding and creating.

- This workshop does not require any prior yoga or floristry skills, and all the materials necessary will be provided

- We will divide the day into two activities, providing a break in between with light refreshments and snacks

We hope to see you there, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Stillness in Asana

How often do you pause and hold in a yoga posture ?
Or Slow yourself Down in movement

The 'Why' behind for me is

To quiet the mind & to pull in the bhava (essence of the Asana ) of the posture in its wholeness .

Strength to feel into my body holding the posture . Where do I connect to the ground.
Where is my body in orientation, are muscles engaged holding or stretching & flexed

Balance to feel the fluctuation of the body .
How the breath moves within and without.
How the gaze (dristi) shifts and holds.

Connecting my Mind & Body creating a conversation between.
Allowing the wholeness to be present.

There is more to the 'why'
It sometimes can't be put into words the best way is to

Pause

Feel

Experience the wonderful way Yoga can enter your life .

Antirrhinum SnapDragon

A plant from my childhood, I love the colours they come in.
Bright, loud and continuously flowers while it's warm .

Snapdragon chats brought out a Snapdogdragon.

Ps I would like the sunshine 🌞 back with rain 🌧️ in evenings so I can fall asleep to the sounds .

Yoga

Mind & Body connection
Soothing the nervous system,
Steadily finding a wholeness in my body .

The softness that can be felt when in a posture can be hard to find,
It takes practice.

It's always beautiful when I'm outside, in company with our guardian of the garden 'Guy'

A heady scent is released in the evening.

This plant is highly poisonous
