PILATES STRENGTH CHALLENGE 21.04.26 (ONLINE)

STRENGTH
We all know we need to be building our strength as we age to help build muscle, burn fat and improve bone density. This challenge is going to focus on building our strength over the 4 weeks.

PROGRESSION
We need to continue to increase the weights to progress . Once something feels easy we increase the reps, or the amount or weight. We need to adapt and keep building.

COMMUNITY
We need to encourage each other, to be held accountable while also having fun with it. We all work harder when we know others are joining us. Let’s motivate each other.

MOTIVATION
I am here to help you feel motivated, to encourage you and to make the workouts enjoyable as well as challenging. I can’t wait to get moving with you all.

WEIGHTS
It can feel quite daunting if you are starting out with weights. I would recommend starting with 2 sets of dumbbells 2kg for upper body and 4kg for lower body. Dumbbells are so versatile and a great way to get started.

I have started using dumbbells. I just love the fact that they are so comfortable, they look amazing and perfect for one workouts.

Spring Reset

I can’t wait to get back into a routine next week. I am back to my class schedule and also running an Online Pilates Strength Challenge

The online sessions are Tuesday & Friday 6.15am - the mornings are getting lighter and it’s such a great way to start the day! You won’t regret it 💪

I’m also looking forward to getting back into the studio- I have some new moves and feeling refreshed after a lovely break- I’m ready to challenge you all- let’s go!

These are more than just words- they are the heart of what our Spring Wellness Retreat Days are all about.

I recently had the pleasure of spending an evening with like- minded women. We gave ourselves time to rest, nourish and reconnect with our bodies & minds.

One thing that really stood out for me was that we are all trying so hard to be the loving partner, the patient parent, the loyal friend, the strong businesswoman. And in doing so, we often forget to come back to ourselves.

Our retreats days are an opportunity for you to:
