Today we did a refresh: a subtle face-frame touch-up + a few delicate babylights to give those roots the most natural, gorgeous glow 🤍

Low lights are seriously one of the most underrated hair transformation and sometimes, they’re ALL you need!

I forgot to take a before picture 🙄 — must be better at that! But imagine those sun-lightened highlights, a little natural root showing (because you all know I love a soft, natural regrowth 😉), and a blonde that’s ready for a little refresh.

As summer starts to come to an end, we wanted to soften and break up the existing blonde. We kept the front piece slightly brightier, then added a load of lowlights, matched beautifully to my client’s natural tone, to create this gorgeous, soft, dimensional colour.

And the best part? We’re basically recycling those old highlights rather than constantly lightening the hair — meaning we can create a richer, more natural tone while keeping the hair in beautiful condition.

Soft, glossy, natural and SO much dimension. 🤎

From faded to fabulous ❤️🍒

This summer transformation was such a fun one! We actually took a lot more length off than the last photo shows (I completely forgot the before picture 🙈), but I managed to grab a shot after removing some darker areas with a gentle bleach bath to create a seamless base for this gorgeous cherry red.

The previous highlights gave the ends that extra pop of vibrancy, adding so much dimension and shine.

I’m absolutely obsessed with how rich and glossy this colour turned out. Summer hair at its finest! ❤️

Firstly you need to swipe > to see the before!

From a grown-out colour (not my work) to a soft, seamless blend.

The goal wasn’t to add more colour as such —it was to banish the old colour on the ends while keeping her beautiful natural hair on the roots to Mid-lengths.

I carefully toned down the ends and wove in colour through the natural base to create the most seamless, low-maintenance blend. The result? Natural, effortless hair that grows out beautifully.

Sometimes less really is more. 🤍

Second session with my lovely client and we’re making beautiful progress.

The goal is to gradually lift her naturally very dark hair, creating a softer regrowth and brighter, more dimensional ends. Taking a slow and controlled approach allows us to achieve maximum lift while maintaining the health and integrity of the hair.

So happy with the results so far, and excited for the next stage of her hair journey. ✨
