Try This Simple Release Technique

Do you wake up with pain in your heel or feel like your feet are aching after a long day on them?

Whether you're a runner, spend hours on your feet at work, or simply lead a busy lifestyle, tight muscles in the feet and calves can contribute to foot discomfort and plantar fasciitis symptoms.

✨ Try this at home:

1️⃣ Sit comfortably and place a tennis ball under your foot.
2️⃣ Gently roll the ball from your heel to your toes.
3️⃣ Apply light to moderate pressure on any tender spots.
4️⃣ Continue for 1-2 minutes on each foot.

This simple technique can help release tension in the plantar fascia, improve circulation, and provide temporary relief from soreness.

💡 Did you know? Tight calf muscles can also increase strain on the plantar fascia. Regular stretching and massage can help reduce this tension and improve mobility.

#🌙 Struggling to switch off after a busy day?

If you've spent hours sitting at a desk, driving, or looking down at a screen, your muscles can hold onto tension long after you've finished work.

Try these simple stretches before bed to help your body relax and prepare for a better night's sleep:

✨ Neck Stretch
Gently tilt your ear towards your shoulder and hold for 20-30 seconds on each side.

✨ Shoulder Rolls
Slowly roll your shoulders backwards 10 times to release upper body tension.

✨ Child's Pose
A wonderful stretch for the lower back, hips and shoulders. Hold for 30-60 seconds while focusing on slow, deep breathing.

✨ Seated Forward Fold
Stretch the back of the legs and ease tension through the spine. Hold comfortably for 20-30 seconds.

✨ Knee-to-Chest Stretch
Lie on your back and gently hug one knee at a time towards your chest to release lower back tightness.

Remember: stretches should feel comfortable and relaxing, never painful.

A few minutes of gentle movement before bed can help reduce stiffness, improve flexibility and encourage your body to unwind after a busy day.
