Meet the Team! 👁️✨

We know that coming in for your annual eye screening can feel like just another thing on the "to-do" list, so we wanted to introduce you to the friendly faces behind the cameras!

This month, we’re featuring Gordon, one of our Screener / Graders. While Gordon is a brilliant screener grader, he's also well known for stepping in to help out in other areas whenever needed—always going above and beyond for the team!

Length of service: 8 years plus a few months.

Favourite part of the job:

"I love talking to patients and learning their history and views on the world. Making patients feel at ease and relaxing during their appointments is my goal, I want them to feel at ease and want them to leave their appointment with a positive and happy feeling so they will be happy to return for the next screening. I always like to answer their question and provide them with an educated response about their questions regarding screening, Patients very rarely understand fully what their results are and what we are looking for so highlighting the basics helps them understand. ."
