Yoga with Poles

There is something quietly revelatory about working with the yoga poles.

The six-foot poles become a living frame of reference for the body, helping you feel where you are in space with extraordinary clarity. Poses suddenly make sense in a completely different way. The body opens. Length appears. Balance becomes tangible. You can sense asymmetries, discover hidden habits, and experience alignment not as an idea, but as a feeling.

The feedback from the poles is immediate, grounding, and often surprisingly emotional, a delicious combination of support, sensation, spaciousness, and insight.

Join Diana Dearle and Lisa Dunn, two of the very few Katonah Yoga teachers in the UK, both based right here in Norwich, for an immersive afternoon exploring this unique and transformative practice.

We’re so excited to share this powerful retreat focused on brain health, sleep, and restoring balance.

This is a subject close to both our hearts. We’ve both experienced insomnia, brain fog, and mood fluctuations, and we know how deeply these can affect everyday life. These challenges feel more common than ever in today’s fast-paced, overstimulated world.

Women, particularly during perimenopause and beyond, can be especially affected. Hormonal changes play a role, but so too do environmental factors. I’ll be covering Katonah Flow Yoga classes this Friday 17th April and then every Tuesday and Friday for the rest of April and half of May (Lion’s Den City, Norwich) ✨

I’ll be stepping in for seven sessions — join me Tuesday & Friday mornings at 10:00am.

Katonah Yoga weaves together geometry, breath, and the body’s natural fits + folds to create a practice that feels both grounding and spacious. Expect a flow that’s structured yet light, playful yet precise — designed to help you reset, realign, and move with a little more ease.
