Sound therapy is deeply restorative, but may not be suitable for those with pacemakers, epilepsy, pregnancy, metal implants, stents, or serious mental health conditions. If you experience tinnitus, you may prefer to sit further from the instruments. Please consult your GP if you have any concerns.

There comes a point where pushing through stops working. Where the constant doing, thinking and giving leaves you feeling wired, tired and slightly disconnected from yourself.

This retreat afternoon is your opportunity to step out of that and into a space designed for a full reset of your body and mind.

Set in the heart of Norwich, The Lions’ Den has become known for its unique blend of heat, cold, movement and community. It’s raw, grounding, and built to bring you back into your body. You’ll begin with grounding yoga, easing tension and helping your body start to slow down.

From there, you’ll be guided into SOMA breathwork using individual wireless headsets. With the headphones on, the outside world drops away. Guided by rhythm, breath and music, you’re able to fully switch off and drop into yourself.

This style of breathwork works directly with your nervous system, helping to reduce stress, improve clarity and create a noticeable shift in how you feel. Many experience deep relaxation, emotional release or a natural high as the body changes state.

We then move into a sound bath, allowing everything to settle and integrate. This is where your body softens, your mind quietens, and the effects of the session deepen.

You’ll then experience the sauna and cold dips. The heat helps relax muscles, improve circulation and support detoxification, while cold exposure boosts mood, reduces inflammation and builds resilience. Together, they create a powerful full-body reset.

You leave feeling calmer, clearer and more connected.

To close the evening, food will be provided, with menu details to follow as The Lion’s Den finalise their summer offering.

You’ll also receive a handcrafted long mocktail and a goody bag. Just bring yourself, swimwear, a towel and a water bottle. Everything else is taken care of.
