“Georgia, why is yours more expensive? I’ve seen 3 areas for £100…” 👀♥️
I've actually had this said to me by clients a few times, so I thought I'd show you what goes on behind the scenes when it comes to the cost of anti-wrinkle treatments.
And my regular clients will know I'm VERY open about product costs 😂 so none of this will be news to them.
A 50-unit vial of Botox alone is currently £89.99. For some clients, 50 units may be suitable for their treatment, while others may require more product — meaning the cost to me increases too. Treatment and dosing are individual, not simply “3 areas = X amount of product.”
Then we have cold-chain delivery, the solution used for reconstitution, syringes, needles, gauze, PPE, clinical waste and all the other little consumables that go into an appointment.
Before I can even treat you, there's also your face-to-face prescription appointment. Gill, our registered nurse prescriber, charges £30 per client for this.
I'm also at the clinic for those prescribing sessions — clinic open, lights on and my time spent there while everyone is assessed and prescribed — and I'm not earning from treatments during that time.
And we STILL haven't got to your actual treatment appointment yet 😂
That's my time, consultation, assessment, treatment, documentation, aftercare, review if required, insurance, training, premises and all the other costs involved in running a safe clinic.
So when someone says “but I've seen 3 areas for £100…”, hopefully this gives a little insight into why my price may be higher.
I'm not mentioning anybody else's business or saying how anybody else should price their treatments. I'm simply showing you what it costs me to provide mine. 🤎
I'm never going to pretend products cost more than they do or hide the numbers from you. I'd rather be transparent and let you see exactly what goes into your appointment.
At the end of the day, I'm just here to give you lovely lot beautiful results and keep you safe. ♥️
