We are delighted to share some fantastic feedback received for two members of our Cromer team, Alice and Tamica.

One of our clients was heading out for the day and wanted a little extra help with her hair. Alice and Tamica were happy to assist, and their kindness clearly made a real difference.

The client later sent them a thoughtful thank you card, which read:

"Thank you so much for sorting everything on Sunday. My family thought I had a haircut because it looked so nice, it felt nice too, for the first time in ages. Thank you both for caring, it meant a lot to me."

At the heart of great home care are the small acts of kindness that help people feel confident, valued, and cared for. We're incredibly proud of Alice and Tamica for going the extra mile and making such a positive impact on our client's day. 💛💙

What makes Cavell Healthcare so special? We believe it is our incredible team, so we would like to introduce you to some of them!

Introducing Laura ✨

Laura started her career in health and social care with Cavell Healthcare in 2024, she said “I passed my driving test and really wanted a change. I never though care work would be for me, but I would not change it for the world, I love being a positive part of peoples lives”.

Laura was promoted to a Field Care Supervisor role in 2026 and loves the variety of the role, “some days I can be out in the community meeting new clients and attending care visits. Other days I may be in the office taking phone calls and completing paperwork or supporting care staff. Each day varies and I love this”.

When we asked Laura what she enjoys most about her role it was a mixture of different things that makes her proud, “I love meeting new people and being a part of helping clients regain their independence. I also take pride in supporting clients and families at the end stages of life which is so important”.

We asked Laura what she would say to a person considering a career in care? “Take the leap, I never thought it would be something I could do or would like to do, but I wish I had jumped sooner. Working with Cavell Healthcare has taught me many new things and boosted my personal growth. I will never look back.

FEEL GOOD FRIDAY WITH CLAIRE 🧘‍♀️

On Friday 8th Claire held her first "Feel Good Friday" in the Cromer office.

This was a chance for staff to have an hour to themselves, releasing the stresses of everyday life and taking part in some breathing exercises and meditation.

Sam the Registered Manager of the Cromer office attended and said “It was wonderful to have the chance to relax and unwind. Learning the breathing techniques was incredibly valuable, and I’ll definitely continue using them going forward.”

Claire will be holding the next event Friday 29th May for any of our staff to join, if you would like more details please call the office on 01263 801 333.

Our care worker, Lauren, and our wonderful client have been making the most of the beautiful weather.
