⚡️Yellow oxidisation following laser eyebrow removal⚡️

Certain pigments , particularly those containing titanium dioxide or lighter inorganic compounds, can shift to a yellow tone when exposed to laser energy. This is due to a chemical change in the pigment as it breaks down.

This stage can be expected in some cases and does not indicate damage or an unsuccessful treatment.

While yellow tones can be more resistant to further laser removal, they can be effectively managed when planning a rework or cover-up, as they provide a lighter base compared to darker residual pigment.

In this scenario, our customer wanted her eyebrows to have a more natural look and would be getting these reworked which was much more achievable for her once we removed the dark pigment

Customer concern- blistering

Over view- blistering can be a potential side effect, generally forming to protect the epidermis after experiencing excessive thermal heat.
We would never encourage breaking the blister, it has been created to protect the dermis. If blistering occurs and is taken care of appropriately, it is unlikely to scar as the complication is superficial.

Solution- although can certainly be a typical side effect of laser, these are extreme reactions and can be counteracted by;

Starting with a consultation and test patch before full sessions to check for contraindications,

Giving you appropriate aftercare to treat the area post laser such as use of aloe Vera gel,

Using correct heat settings according to your needs and healing,

Using a cooling method before, during and after treatment
