A Menopause Friendly first. 🌍

We’re delighted to celebrate Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), which has been awarded a Menopause Friendly Accredited ‘Firsts’ Honour after becoming the first global employer to achieve Menopause Friendly Accreditation across three geographical regions: the UK, Australia and the US.

The journey began with Bristol Myers Squibb UK & Ireland in 2021, when a colleague sharing their personal experience helped open the conversation around menopause and led to new support and training initiatives. These included a menopause advocate network, mandatory training for people managers, Occupational Health and HR colleagues, and a fast-track referral service giving employees free access to a registered menopause specialist.

BMS Australia then worked towards Menopause Friendly Accreditation, using the process to identify gaps in knowledge and make physical and cultural adjustments. BMS US followed, achieving accreditation in November 2025 after introducing awareness sessions, training modules, a dedicated menopause hub and workplace guidance.

Together, the three regions have set an international benchmark for what consistent, meaningful menopause support can look like across different workplaces and cultures.

A huge congratulations to everyone at Bristol Myers Squibb involved in this remarkable achievement. 👏

Huge congratulations to Cera and their Learning and Development team on winning Awareness Campaign of the Year at the British Training Awards for their Menopause Programme. 👏

This is a brilliant recognition of the work they have done to bring menopause support out from behind closed doors and into everyday workplace culture.

Through Menopause Champions, monthly sessions, practical workplace adjustments and confidential support, Cera has shown what meaningful action can look like in a frontline care setting.

We were also proud to recognise Cera as the first home care provider to achieve Menopause Friendly Accreditation. 🤩

Their work is a powerful reminder that supporting colleagues through menopause is not only the right thing to do, it also helps retain experienced, skilled people in professions where their knowledge, care and compassion make such a difference.

Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this programme to life. 💜

A team away day with a difference. 🐾

Our Relationship Managers recently spent the day at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, one of our wonderful members, for a chance to step away from the day-to-day, spend time together and see more of the incredible work they do.

While we were there, we were delighted to make a donation to support their vital work caring for dogs and cats who need safety, kindness and a second chance. 🐶🐱

It was the perfect place for a team away day. Inspiring, meaningful and a brilliant reminder of the difference our members make in so many different ways.

Thank you to the team at Battersea for having us. 💜

We're delighted to announce Davina McCall has been presented with our Menopause Friendly Inspirational Voice Honour in recognition of the impact of her menopause advocacy work. This honour celebrates inspirational public figures who have championed menopause awareness, removed stigma and amplified the conversation on a national scale. Their passion, advocacy, commitment, voices and influence have kept menopause top of mind and a priority within the workplace and wider society. 🎉

“I’m thrilled to receive this honour and be named among such amazing people and organisations who are all doing great work advocating for menopause at work and home,” says Davina. “I can’t quite believe it’s five years since S*x Myths and the Menopause aired on Channel 4. I wasn’t prepared for the impact it would have but I knew it HAD to be made. The Henpicked gang has led the culture change for how menopause is managed in the workplace and I love their work. So, it’s extra special to be given this award by them.”

This is the second year of the prestigious Menopause Friendly Birthday Honours which recognise the contributions of outstanding individuals and organisations committed to championing menopause in the workplace. 🤩

Becoming Menopause Friendly Accredited is about far more than having the right words in a policy. It is about showing that meaningful support is genuinely embedded across an organisation.

British Airways achieved the Menopause Friendly Accreditation following significant work to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for colleagues experiencing menopause.

Captain Suzanne Morgan played a central role in driving that change. What began with recognising a gap in support grew into peer networks, greater awareness, specialist resources, practical workplace adjustments and wider conversations with the business and industry regulators. This is what real progress looks like. Listening to employees, acting on what they need and creating support that works across different roles, including safety-critical ones.

We are proud to recognise British Airways as a Menopause Friendly Accredited employer and to share the story behind its work.
