🚶‍♀️🌼 May is National Walking Month! 🌼🚶‍♂️

As we are approaching May next week, National Walking Month is all about encouraging people to move more throughout May, whether that’s a short daily stroll, a longer countryside walk, or wheeling where walking isn’t possible. It’s a great way to get active, enjoy the outdoors, and connect with others.

Walking has so many benefits:
💚 Boosts mood and mental wellbeing
💚 Improves physical health and fitness
💚 Helps reduce stress and increase energy
💚 A great way to socialise and feel connected

Throughout May, there will be a variety of walking and wheeling events taking place across Nottinghamshire, giving everyone the chance to get involved in a way that suits them.

✨ Who remembers last year when our Social Prescribing team took part in National Walking Month? We followed the bingo cards and completed fun challenges across the month, take a look below for a throwback!
