What does meaningful menopause support actually look like once it moves beyond policy and into real workplace culture? That is the question more employers are asking as Menopause Action Plans become a bigger focus. 🔍

Because knowing menopause matters at work is one thing. Knowing what to do next, how to build trust, how to engage people across the organisation and how to create lasting change is where the real work begins.

Our free webinar, Menopause Action: Lessons from Leading Employers, brings together three accredited Menopause Friendly employers who are already leading the way.

You’ll hear from HSBC UK, E.ON UK and AtkinsRéalis as they share practical insight into what has made the biggest difference in their organisations, from long-term commitment and culture change to employee feedback and engagement. 💡

This is a chance to learn from employers who have moved from awareness into action, and to take away ideas you can apply in your own workplace so please join us on 25 June, 10–11am.

Almost 7 in 10 women say menopause symptoms have negatively impacted them at work. That isn’t a small issue affecting a handful of people, it’s a workplace reality.

When symptoms affect confidence, concentration, sleep and wellbeing, performance is bound to feel the impact too. Yet many employees are still navigating this stage of life quietly, without the understanding or adjustments that could make a real difference.

Supporting menopause at work isn’t about special treatment. It’s about creating conditions where experienced, talented people can continue to thrive. If your organisation wants to move beyond awareness and put meaningful support in place, we’re here to help.

Occupational Health is becoming central to menopause support in the workplace. With growing focus from Government, regulators and employers on improving support for women’s health at work, organisations are now expected to take a more structured approach, including developing Menopause Action Plans.

This is where Occupational Health professionals play a crucial role. Our Certified Menopause Training Programme for Occupational Health Professionals, developed by Henpicked in partnership with the Society of Occupational Medicine, has been designed to help OH practitioners navigate this evolving landscape with confidence.

Menopause Friendly members receive one free place per member organisation on this training, so book your spot now. If you're not a member, paid places are available.

If your organisation would like access to opportunities like this, please get in touch to find out more about becoming a Menopause Friendly member.

🏳️‍🌈 Menopause and LGBTQIA+; it's time for an inclusive conversation (it’s always time for an inclusive conversation but as it’s Pride Month we wanted to bring this to the top of your feed again) 🤝

Reducing stigma in the workplace...

It’s encouraging to see more people feeling comfortable talking about menopause at work. When we normalise these conversations, it becomes easier to ask for support, explain a difficult day, and feel understood, not judged. Creating an open, informed culture benefits everyone. 🤩

Have you noticed a shift in how menopause is spoken about in your workplace? If not, perhaps it's time to talk to us for some guidance and support. 🤝

Did you know 81% of menopausal people experience difficulty sleeping? 😴

Sleep disruption is one of the most common (and often overlooked) symptoms of menopause. Lack of sleep can affect concentration, mood, and productivity, making it essential for workplaces to understand the impact this has on their employees. 🥱

From flexible working arrangements to wellbeing programmes, there are many ways employers can help alleviate the challenges faced by those experiencing sleep difficulties. 🤝

Is your workplace menopause-friendly? Please get in touch with us to find out how we can help your organisation create a supportive environment where everyone can thrive. 💡

49% of women have considered leaving their jobs due to menopause symptoms...

That is not a wellbeing statistic, it is a workplace retention, inclusion and leadership issue.

Behind this figure are experienced employees questioning whether they can continue in roles they value, often while trying to manage symptoms quietly and without support. For organisations, this represents a loss of talent, knowledge and confidence that could be avoided with the right awareness, conversations and practical adjustments.

Creating menopause aware workplaces is not complicated, but it does require intention. Education, supportive policies and confident line managers make a meaningful difference to whether people feel able to stay, contribute and thrive.

Menopause is not an individual problem to solve alone. It is a workplace reality that organisations can choose to respond to proactively.

If your organisation has not yet explored menopause training, policies, or wider support, now is the time to start the conversation. Find out more about how we support employers over on our website.

We’re absolutely delighted that Menopause in the Workplace was named Runner Up in the Service Excellence Award at the East Midlands Business Masters. What a beautiful piece of crystal to add to our growing collection! 🤩

This recognition feels incredibly special because service and delivery sit at the heart of everything we do.

We’ve been fortunate to receive many awards over the years, including Delivery Solution of the Year, but awards like this are especially precious to us because they recognise the way we work with organisations, not just what we provide, but how we support them. 🤝

Our work is built on our mission and relationships. We are here to help employers take meaningful action, build confidence, create change and support their people well. That takes care, trust, pace, quality, expertise, problem-solving and a genuine commitment to walking alongside organisations every step of the way. So this recognition means a huge amount. 🥰

A heartfelt thank you for the nomination, to the judges, to HSBC UK and to the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) for a brilliant evening and for championing businesses across the region.

Most of all, thank you to our wonderful Henpicked team. This is such a lovely external recognition to the brilliant service and delivery you bring every single day to our members, employers, partners and each other. 🎉
