Freddie and I will still be at Gedling Park today from 11am if you still wish to crack out the brolly and join us!

The next meet up has been pencilled in for
🎃 Sunday 20th October 🎃 So put that in your diaries - I am hoping to have some spooky treats for everyone so a big turnout would be amazing 👏

Sorry I've been so rubbish at updating this page this month!

Freddie started year one, and I started a new job, so it's been all go go go.

I am aware the next meet up has been pencilled in for this coming Sunday 22nd.

Is anyone still wanting to come along and meet up? ✨️

If not that's absolutely fine - serves me right for nor being on the ball! I will arrange a October Halloween 🎃 meet up for next month and be a bit more on it this time 😅

Our first little meet up was a success, and Freddie and I are already looking forward to September! 👨🏼‍🚀

Please spread the word to anyone that may benefit from our meetings, I plan to arrange one every month for whoever wishes to join us, the location will change each time to give a bit of variety 🪐

Hello! 👋

My name is Sarah, and I am a mum of two in Nottingham.

My eldest child, Freddie, is full of character, mad about bugs and is also the bravest boy I know. After years of appointments, invasive tests and scans, he has been diagnosed with Russell Silver Syndrome, a rare form of Dwarvism, and undergoes daily injections, and ongoing medical and feeding support.

As he grows up, my wish is for him to meet more children with additional medical needs, so that he may realise his strength and make friends with children that are - "Just Like Me".

As his mum and advocate, I want to extend my support to other parents and carers, and create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where we can meet in a local public space, the children can mix and play with others "Just like them" and we can also share our experiences over a cuppa.

I hope to meet you some day,
