Marc Goodall: Counsellor
Taking a moment to check in… what’s really going on for you right now?

Many people reach a point where something doesn’t feel quite right. They may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, isolated, or unsure how to move forward. Sometimes the struggle is clear; other times it’s harder to put into words.

Marc offers a calm, supportive space where clients can explore what’s happening for them at their own pace. Through connection, safety, and understanding, he helps people make sense of their experiences and move towards clarity, freedom, and lasting change.

As an Integrative Person-Centred Counsellor, Marc combines traditional talking therapy with creative and holistic approaches, including EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), Sand Tray Therapy, NLP, Matrix Reimprinting, and Walk & Talk Therapy. His flexible, collaborative style allows each session to be tailored to the individual.

At the heart of his work is a simple belief: with the right support, people already hold the insight they need to grow and heal.

With over 10 years’ experience, Marc has worked with a wide range of clients, including LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals, as well as university students. He holds a Master’s degree in Counselling from the University of Manchester and is a registered member of BACP, EFT International, and the Creative Counsellors organisation.

Matt Le Mare is a fully qualified and registered therapist with over twenty years of experience. Whether someone is seeking advice, emotional support, or therapeutic support to address specific concerns, Matt offers a professional and compassionate approach tailored to individual needs. More information about how he can help can be found throughout the website.
Sometimes a conversation can offer what a website cannot, so prospective clients are encouraged to get in touch. Matt is always happy to answer questions or simply have an informal chat about how psychotherapy may benefit them or someone they know.

How Matt Approaches Therapy
Matt’s approach to therapy is centred on helping people live their lives with greater depth, commitment, and joy.

Life is not always easy. None of us choose the brain, body, or circumstances we are born into, and many of the experiences we face throughout life remain beyond our control.

However, we can reflect on how we think and feel about our experiences. We can learn more about what drives the choices we make and begin to make more compassionate decisions that are kinder to ourselves and others, while creating greater meaning and purpose in our lives.

All the therapies Matt offers are grounded in his commitment to helping clients explore what is truly important to them, develop self-care and compassion, and build the inner resources needed to support lasting wellbeing and a more fulfilling life.

If this feels like it could help, please feel free to call, email, or send a message. More information about Matt and the way he works can be found on the website. Thank you.

Have you ever noticed those red circular marks on someone’s body and wondered what they were?
They’re often from dry cupping ✨ — a treatment rooted in traditional Chinese medicine that uses gentle suction cups on the skin to help support circulation, ease muscle tension, and encourage recovery.

Why do people choose dry cupping?
💆 Pain relief – it can help ease tight, sore muscles and reduce tension
🩸 Improves circulation – The suction created during a cupping session enhances blood flow, which can help deliver essential nutrients and oxygen to tissues, promoting overall health and well-being
🌿 Supports recovery – Improved circulation also aids in the removal of toxins from the body. This detoxifying effect can help reduce inflammation and support the immune system
😌 Relaxation – many people find it deeply calming and restorative
✨ Skin benefits – may help improve tone and support collagen production. It may help reduce the appearance of scars, cellulite, and stretch marks.

We’re delighted that James Greenaway is now offering dry cupping at Bay Therapy Centre.

✨ Hypnotherapy ✨
Hypnotherapy is a gentle, natural approach that uses deep relaxation and focused attention to support positive change.
It isn’t the same as being asleep. You remain aware, in control, and able to respond throughout the session. In this calm, relaxed state, your hypnotherapist gently guides you, helping you access your own inner resources and explore what has brought you to therapy.

Hypnotherapy may support people with a wide range of issues, including:
🌿 Anxiety and stress
🌿 Fears and phobias
🌿 Unwanted habits
🌿 Poor sleep
🌿 Panic attacks
🌿 Confidence and self-esteem
🌿 Performance anxiety
🌿 Chronic pain
🌿 IBS and other physical symptoms
🌿 Skin conditions and migraines
🌿 Trauma
🌿 Addictions and behavioural patterns

Sometimes, consciously trying to change something isn’t enough on its own. Hypnotherapy works with the unconscious mind, helping you create new patterns, make positive choices, and feel more in control.

After a session, many people feel calm, refreshed, and more balanced. You may also be given self-help techniques to use at home whenever you need them.
We have several highly experienced hypnotherapists working from .
