Just a reminder in preparation for one of the busiest months of the year, at the Well Pharmacy Radcliffe-on-Trent, we offer a service called ‘Pharmacy First’. This service is available as an initial point of call service to reduce the strain on GP appointments… to essentially free the doctors up to see the more complex cases that require their expertise!

If you have signs of any of the following conditions, please feel free to drop into the pharmacy with no appointment required so that the pharmacist can assess and treat accordingly (antibiotics can be given if necessary) or recommend the most appropriate products:

1) Sore Throats (5 yrs old and over)

2) Uncomplicated Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) (16 yrs old to 64 yrs old, Women)

3) Sinusitis (12 yrs and over)

4) Infected insect bites (1 yrs old and over)

5) Otitis media (ear infection) - (1 - 17 yrs old)

6) Impetigo (1 yrs and over)

7) Shingles (18 yrs and over)

Hi, we will be running a Flu/Covid vaccination clinic between 12-6PM on Saturday 4th October at Well Pharmacy - Radcliffe on Trent! You can either make an appointment through the NHS website or walk in.

The Covid vaccination criteria has been updated this year so you can get the winter COVID-19 vaccine at the pharmacy if you:

- Are aged 75 or over (including those who will be 75 by 31 January 2026)
- Are aged 18 to 74 years and have a weakened immune system because of a health condition or treatment
- Are in a care home for older adults
