People in Action – More Than Just a Charity 🫶

Many people know us for our charity work… but People in Action is so much more. We’re proud to run community projects that bring people together, create opportunities and make a real difference every day.

From tasty vegetarian dishes and volunteering opportunities at the cafe, to Horticultural Therapy in our community gardens, we offer welcoming space where people can grow, create and enjoy the outdoors.

🏅 PIA Championships at the New Physical Activity Hub! 🏅

On Tuesday 16th, we hosted our very first PIA Championships at the brand‑new Physical Activity Hub in Bedworth as part of Learning Disability Week and what an incredible day it was!

Our staff and customers had a fantastic time taking part in a range of fun games and friendly competitions. The energy, teamwork and enthusiasm was brilliant from start to finish, and every participant received a medal to celebrate their achievements 🏅

A huge thank you to the team at the new Physical Activity Hub for all their help and support on the day!💚 Bedworth Physical Activity Hub

And a massive thank you to all the staff who organised the event, as well as everyone who came along to participate, cheer, and support the day! 💚

Come along, get creative and add your stitch to a textile piece to celebrate the 800th Anniversary of Nuneaton's Market Charter!

A lovely chance to be part of something special, don’t miss it! 🥳

I had a fabulous morning at Bedworth Warwickshire Library & Information Service delivering my first SEW IT! free drop-in session.

Each piece created during this session will contribute towards a textile piece that will celebrate the 800th Anniversary of Nuneaton's Market Charter.

My next workshop will be at the Bedworth Community Gardens & The Mayor's Cafe on Wednesday 10th June between 9.30am - 11.30 am.

On 20th May, Kerri and Amy from our HR team attended the Work Human Forum at the Park Lane Hilton in London. It was a great chance to connect with other HR professionals and explore new ideas around leadership and workplace culture, including conversations with teams from organisations like the BBC and BP.

The event featured inspiring speakers and offered valuable insight into strengthening recognition and supporting our staff through a more human‑centred approach.
