What did you do this Beltane?

The ancient Gaelic May Day Festival was celebrated magnificently at - not far from us - with an incredible wicker man designed and crafted by

Beltane is traditionally about three things:
Fire (to cleanse and protect)
Flowers (often as an offering to the faerie folk)
Fertility (hence Beltane's reputation as The Naughty Festival...)

Hawthorn, aka Mayflower, plays a big part, representing fertility and love - it even has heart shaped leaves 💘
Plus it smells GORGEOUS.

A sunshine-filled start to the week ☀️🌿
A dog walk became a foraging walk when we came across an abundance of beautiful cleavers — such a humble but powerful little herb.

Often enjoyed as a soothing tea or refreshing cold infusion, cleavers have long been loved for supporting the circulatory and lymphatic systems… 🌱

✨ A note of care: cleavers are best avoided during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and if you’re taking blood thinners or have heart or kidney conditions.

Take a moment this week to step outside and see what’s growing around you, you might be surprised at what you find 🌼 and the magic it may hold!
