September is well underway, there’s a definite chill in the air and we are more than ready to embrace all things cosy.

The blazing summer sun has left us a whole raft of beautiful dried flowers, seed heads and foliage just waiting to be foraged 🌾🌿✨

We’ll be gathering a few of these treasures over the coming weeks, ready to use in our workshops and displays.

But foraging gently is so important. We always follow the one in twenty rule — taking no more than one flower or stem for every twenty we see, and leaving plenty behind for wildlife, seeds and the plants themselves.

Goodness knows the weather hasn’t been particularly kind to our wild spaces this year, so we’ll be doing our very best to be kind to them. 🤎

Take a little. Leave a lot. And let nature stay a little bit wild. 🌿

✨ How gorgeous are these fairy houses and gardens?! 🧚🌿🏡

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming a lovely mother and daughter group to our Fairy House & Garden Workshop this week — such a gorgeous thing to do together, and we LOVE seeing how completely different everyone’s creations turn out. 💕

We still have a few spaces left on our final children’s workshop of the summer holidays:

Come and join us for a morning of crafting, creativity and a little fairy magic. ✨

Parents are very welcome to stay and get creative too (we won’t judge if you become more invested in your own project than the children 😆), or simply have a cuppa and a chat.

Or you’re very welcome to leave your child with us for a couple of hours while you squeeze in some work, shopping, a hair appointment… or maybe just enjoy a peaceful coffee! ☕️

We are DBS checked, and everything needed to create their own magical fairy house and garden is provided. 🌿🧚‍♀️

One year of running a small business has taught us that…

✨ A little basket of our summer favourites…

And the basket itself? It’s a cool bag. Quite literally the coolest basket around. 😎🧺

Inside, we’ve gathered everything you might need for a long, lazy summer’s day in the wild…

A gorgeous recycled-textile picnic blanket with a waterproof backing, citronella & lemon balm incense to keep the bugs at bay, and our own here comes the sun bronzing balm for a little sun-kissed shimmer. ✨

There’s also cool it aloe & cucumber butter for warm skin and hot, achey feet, and — because no summer adventure should be without a little practical magic — our multi-purpose balm for dry bits, sore bits, chafing, insect bites, cracked heels… and just about everything in between. 🌿

And finally, a beautiful wildflower book, so we can put names to all the little bits of magic growing around us. 🌼🌸

All that’s missing is a shady spot beneath a tree, a few good friends…

…and the Prosecco. 🥂✨🌿
