Keeping safe whilst tanning is essential ๐Ÿซถ

โœ… Doโ€™s

* Wear protective eyewear during every session.
* Start with short sessions if youโ€™re new to tanning or returning after a break.
* Follow the recommended exposure times for your skin type.
* Use indoor tanning lotion approved by the salon.
* Stand evenly with arms slightly away from your body for an even tan.
* Stay hydrated before and after tanning.
* Remove makeup, perfume, and deodorant before your session.
* Moisturise regularly to help maintain your tan.
* Follow all salon safety guidance and instructions.
* Stop the session immediately if you feel unwell or uncomfortable.

โŒ Donโ€™ts

* Donโ€™t exceed the recommended session time.
* Donโ€™t tan every day without allowing your skin time to recover.
* Donโ€™t use outdoor tanning oils in the sunbed.
* Donโ€™t use the sunbed if your skin is sunburned, irritated, or sensitive.
* Donโ€™t use a sunbed if you are pregnant.
* Donโ€™t use a sunbed if you have an excessive number of moles or freckles without medical advice.
* Donโ€™t use a sunbed if you have had surgery within the last 6 weeks.
* Donโ€™t use a sunbed if you suffer from epilepsy or conditions triggered by flashing or bright lights.
* Donโ€™t use a sunbed while taking medication that may cause photosensitivity unless approved by a healthcare professional.
* Donโ€™t wear jewellery that could cause uneven tanning or discomfort.
* Donโ€™t ignore dizziness, itching, burning, or unusual skin reactions.
* Donโ€™t assume standing sunbeds are risk-free, UV exposure can increase the risk of premature skin aging and skin cancer.
