For urgent medical assistance while we are closed, please contact the Surgery on 0161 621 4800 to be directed to our out of hours or call 999 in an emergency.

🛑Please not our car park will be locked at 1:00pm so any vehicles left will be locked in until Monday 01.06.2026 🛑

The surgery is back open today 😁

Please remember we are closed from 1pm on Friday 29th May - this is due to the Whit Walks and Band Contest in the local area. 🎺🎷🪊

Happy Bank Holiday - the surgery is closed today and will reopen tomorrow at 8:00am
We hope everyone is enjoying the bank holiday safely ☀️😁
This sunshine is beautiful but some people may struggle in this heat- below are some tips to stay cool

☀️😎

🧴Please remember to use a HIGH UV protecting sun cream - this must have the 5 UV stars highlighted on the back of the bottle.

🚰 Plenty of fluids, you can also have water dense fruits and vegetables if you struggle to drink alot of fluids- if out and about take a refillable water bottle

👚 Loose fitting clothing, try not to wear too many layers, hats/caps to keep the sun from your head & face

👟 Appropriate footwear- if you are out and about please wear appropriate footwear to avoid injuries

🏡 Keep your homes cool, keep curtains closed at peak sunshine times, use fans to circulate cool air. Open windows in your house on the opposite side the sun is

Don't forget to collect your repeat prescription ahead of the May bank holiday weekend, to ensure you don't run out of medication.

Some pharmacies may have reduced opening hours over the bank holiday.

Empowered Conversations is a course that nudges caregivers to re-consider connections and communication. It generates curiosity around the actions and words of those living with dementia. It’s a space to explore emotions, self-care and what’s important in all of our lives. The courses are delivered via Zoom. They use discussions, group work, real life examples and sharing stories to explore, reflect and learn as a group.
