Staying in routine during the school holidays☀️

It's normal for routines to go out of sync during the school holiday period, especially if you're experiencing big changes in your life and going to school seems to be the only fixed routine. Doing simple things every day that are good for you and your little ones can help you feel more organised. ❤

Some examples:
⏰ Try to wake up at around the same time every day, even if you don't have to rush off to school.
🥕 What we eat can impact how we feel. Add colour to your plate with some of these good foods: frozen or tinned veggies, beans, milk, eggs, cheese, pasta, rice, oats, chicken and fish. Drink lots of water and stay hydrated.
📖 Spend time on a learning activity such as reading.
🧩 Try to reduce screen time by playing games or doing activities that don't require a mobile phone.
☕ Remember to take breaks and focus on one thing at a time.
☀️ Go outside to get some air and go for a short walk.
🎨 Do something you enjoy.
💤 Try to get enough sleep - a sleep mask and earplugs can help if your accommodation is noisy.
