Just a quick reminder…

The Gortin Road is closed travelling out of the town - once you get to the new fire station you will be re routed past the back of Mcbride’s shop,
up behind Healy park- then to get to Ukiyo you will have to turn left at the cross roads on Killybrack Road and then left again on to the Gortin Road and head back in to town.

Our advice? - avoid it completely if possible and come via the Strathroy link road.

Allow extra time for travelling so you arrive calm and ready to relax. 🧘‍♀️

We love a little too much sun as much as the next person, so we’re definitely not here to preach… ☀️😅

But if you’ve come home with sunburn, been caught off guard or your skin has started peeling, it’s worth holding off on your massage for a little while.

Sunburn is damaged skin, and massage over the area can increase heat, irritation and discomfort. Peeling skin is still recovering too, so it’s best to let it heal before your appointment.

Once your skin is back to normal, we’ll be ready and waiting to help you relax.

Enjoy the sunshine, wear your SPF where you can, and if you do overdo it (we’ve all been there!), just give your skin a little time before booking in or let us know and we will reschedule you.

We’ve just found out that we’re Fresha Recommended for the second year in a row — and for the third time overall!

For a wee business like ours, that’s a pretty big deal, so we’re absolutely giving ourselves a huge pat on the back.

The last few years haven’t been easy for small businesses, and there have definitely been times when it’s felt hard going, so we’re really proud of what we’ve built and how far Ukiyo has come.

This year marks five wonderful years of Ukiyo, but honestly, it would be nothing without all of you.
